Sale representatives were absolutely wonderful but service department needs to get it together. Bought my truck 12/13/25 after 3 days smelled pure mold and found water leaking in the truck. Found that service department needs to get it together. Bought my truck 12/13/25 after 3 days smelled pure mold and found water leaking in the truck. Found that my carpet was soaked and mildew growing in between. Also u can hear water under cab. Had my wife video tape while we drove around. You can hear the water running from one side of the truck to the other. Vents in the back of the cab seal had been dry rotted. Antenna fin on top of truck also was leaking and soaking my liner around the window plus the rear brake light was leaking. I found all the issues and called dealership to let them know and they told me to bring it back. I have pics and videos to prove it all. We dropped the truck off to the service department and wrote down everything I found. After 24 hours received text from Jose and Tuff. Telling me it was my rear brake light on the cab and ordered part to replace. I sent the pics and videos to Jose cause again that wasn’t the only issue. Got no response for 24 hours. So, I called to speak to Jose. I asked Jose did you see the videos and he said he did. His response was he could only go by what his tech found. So in other words, they didn’t do what needed to be done. They had my truck from Sunday to Wednesday on Xmas Eve. With that being said, The Service department does not go up and beyond to find or fix the problem for their customers. Minimum work as possible. My son and I took the truck apart piece by piece and scrubbed mildew out. Dried out the truck which took 36 hours to do so..ORDERED the parts from Toyota of Clermont and replaced the vents myself that the service department didn’t do because they couldn’t do it or they was just that incompetent to complete task! Service department at Toyota was helpful and understanding! More
