June 15 – Initial Diagnostic Visit I dropped my truck off for diagnosis. June 18 – Truck Returned / Repairs Recommended My truck was returned, and I was informed that it needed an EGR cooler and cylinder head replacement. I explained that I was planning to travel out of town with the truck. Josh, my service manager, told me that I could safely drive the truck out of town while the necessary parts were being ordered. June 18–June 25 – Turbo Odor and Whistling While traveling, I noticed an unusual odor and a whistling sound that appeared to be coming from the turbo area. June 25 – Returned to Dealership With Turbo Concerns After returning home, I brought the truck back to the dealership and explained my concerns about the odor and turbo noise. Josh, Kyle, and the technician working on my truck informed me that something had not been reattached or secured at the turbo because the truck would be returning for additional repairs. I was told that it would not cause any damage or harm to the truck while it remained unsecured. July 1 – Truck Dropped Off for Major Repairs I returned the truck for the recommended repairs. I was originally told the truck was expected to be completed by July 3. July 3 – Repair Delay I called for an update and was told that the repairs were taking longer because of a stuck bolt. July 7 – Fuel Leak Discovered I called again for an update. Josh informed me that a fuel leak had developed and that the technicians were trying to locate the source of the leak. July 10 – Truck Returned With New Warning Messages and Loose Engine Cover I was told that my truck was ready and picked it up at approximately 5:30 p.m. After leaving the dealership, the check-engine light came on, along with a warning stating that the DEF system needed service and displaying a countdown until the vehicle would enter limp mode. I stopped at a gas station, opened the hood, and found that the upper engine cover was sitting on top of the engine and had not been secured. There were no bolts installed in the cover. I contacted General Manager Mike and expressed my concerns regarding the unsecured engine cover and the continuing problems with my truck. July 11 – Returned for Engine Cover and Quality Concerns I returned the truck so the engine cover could be properly secured. I also spoke with Mike in person and expressed concerns regarding the quality of the work performed on my truck. I specifically raised concerns about the possibility that one-time-use fuel lines may have been reused following the fuel-leak issue. July 13 – Truck Returned for DEF Diagnosis / Loaner Vehicle Provided I dropped the truck off again so the dealership could determine the cause of the DEF-system warning. The dealership later informed me that the DEF injector had failed and was reportedly on backorder for approximately three months. I was also provided a loaner vehicle. The front-desk employee informed me that the vehicle had not yet been entered into the system or registered as a loaner vehicle. I was told that the dealership could not process the loaner paperwork until July 14 and that the vehicle might not have insurance coverage during the first night. I explained that I intended to use a credit card that provided rental-vehicle coverage, but I was told the loaner could not be processed until it was entered into the system. The loaner vehicle already had a check-engine light on when I received it. The light was reset, but it returned after I left the dealership. July 15 – Loaner Vehicle Broke Down While driving the loaner vehicle on the highway, a power-steering warning appeared. After arriving at work, I shut the vehicle off. Dropped off my ram 1500 for a oil change and some minor repair. I ask how long it would be, because I needed my truck back and could wait to do the service. They told me it would take a day. 4 days later I finally got my truck back, no oil change sticker, did not reset the oil change indicator, and no marks on the drain plug. I called they said they would share the video of it like they said they were supposed to. After a month of waiting no video no proof they did the oil change and I had 2 oil changes that I already paid for and was still charged for it. This dealership has no accountability and very poor customer service. This has still gone unresolved for 6 months. I would not use them for anything. More

Be very careful letting this service department perform maintenance on your vehicle. I purchased a new 2022 Ram 1500 limited in January 2022. In November 2022 I had my 2nd oil change completed here. After maintenance on your vehicle. I purchased a new 2022 Ram 1500 limited in January 2022. In November 2022 I had my 2nd oil change completed here. After that oil change I smelled burning oil while driving home. I immediately took the truck back to the dealership and they found that the technician didn't tighten the oil pan screw. 3 months later I had oil leaking onto my driveway. They acted like I was imagining the oil in my driveway, but they agreed to do a dye test. After driving the vehicle for 500 miles they used a used a special light to attempt to locate the leak. They thought it was coming from the oil pump so they replaced it. After they replaced the oil pump I continued to smell burning oil and what I thought was burning antifreeze coming through my vents and under the hood. After several more oil changes I took it in again for the oil/antifreeze smell. They didn't even lift the truck up to evaluate for a leak. They simply did a pressure test for the antifreeze smell and advised that they couldn't find any issues. Approximately 2 months after that visit I found more oil in my driveway. This time it was much more than the previous times. I contacted the service department and they refused to call me back. I called several times and left messages for Josh in service. I contacted Ram and they had my take the truck to Century in Wentzville. When they evaluated the truck they found oil leaking from the oil filter. In fact I had lost over half a quart of oil. The technician advised that the oil filter was close to completely coming off. He said one more rotational turn due to vibration while driving and the filter would have fallen off and all of the oil would have drained out and my motor would have seized up. They checked the filter and determined that it was never tightened during my last oil change which was approximately 4 months prior. They also determined that there was burnt oil all over the underside of the truck which is why we kept smelling burnt oil. It was spraying on the exhaust while driving down the road. This dealership has the most incompetent staff I have ever seen. Buyer beware if you let them work on your vehicle.
