Outrageously Unprofessional – Broken Agreement, Zero Accountability, and Questionable Business Tactics I don’t typically write reviews, but my experience with Horne Kia has been so disappointing that I Accountability, and Questionable Business Tactics I don’t typically write reviews, but my experience with Horne Kia has been so disappointing that I feel compelled to warn others. From start to finish, this dealership has demonstrated a troubling lack of professionalism, transparency, and basic customer service. I reached out about a specific Certified Pre-Owned vehicle. After the initial salesperson failed to follow through, I reached out to the used car sales director, Mike, and negotiated a cash price. We were provided with an official out-the-door quote and agreed to meet halfway for a test drive since we live in Cave Creek and the dealership is in Gilbert. On the day of the meeting—nothing. No call, no update. Just silence. After multiple attempts to reach someone, I finally spoke with Clark, who was courteous and promised someone would follow up the next day. They did. Trying to give them the benefit of the doubt, we agreed to have the vehicle delivered to our home for a test drive, with the intention of finalizing the purchase if everything checked out.. However, just hours before the scheduled delivery, I received a call from someone I had never spoken with—Al—informing me of an “apparent leak” and the car would not be coming. He said service would take a look and he’d follow up. In my opinion, a leak on a Certified Pre-Owned vehicle that supposedly passed inspection raised serious concerns. That was the last I heard from anyone. Despite leaving multiple voicemails and messages with Barbara (who was preparing our paperwork), Mike, the used car director, Al and others, I received no response whatsoever. This was especially concerning since we had already provided our driver’s licenses and other personally sensitive information to finalize the sale. What happened next was even more troubling: the day after they failed to deliver the car, the vehicle’s price was lowered online—only to be raised by $2,000 later that same day. We had a written pricing sheet in hand, so this sudden fluctuation felt misleading and inconsistent with our agreement. It strongly appeared that the dealership had no intention of honoring the deal. As a business owner with over 30 years of experience in the automotive industry, I can confidently say that this level of disregard for a customer would have put my own business at risk. Horne Kia’s conduct, in my opinion, reflects a serious breakdown in customer service and ethical standards. This review reflects my personal experience and opinions based on the events as they occurred. I urge others to exercise caution and consider alternative dealerships that demonstrate greater professionalism and respect for their customers. More

Not happy with the service managers lack of response on helping us with warranty issues. We contacted several times by phone and in person. Now 2 months in and still no response. The additional money we pa helping us with warranty issues. We contacted several times by phone and in person. Now 2 months in and still no response. The additional money we paid for extra warranty on paint ,even after "there "third-party people said that the paint was defective...and nothing. We were in the market for our next vehicle and not sure if Horne Kia will get our business...We have purchased several kia's and now have lost confidence in follow through of the dealer More

I seldom write reviews, and if I do write a review it’s a good one. However, this dealership is a total SCAM. To start, I purchased a used car from this place because I found an ad online for it. It was my f good one. However, this dealership is a total SCAM. To start, I purchased a used car from this place because I found an ad online for it. It was my first time buying a car on my own, so of course these people were going to try to take advantage of me, so I brought my dad with me. Before I get into detail, while I was waiting for the financing to be approved, someone backed into the rear panel of my car and made a GIANT dent in it. No one said anything and I didn’t notice until I got home the same day. I immediately messaged Josh G my salesman and he was weary thinking that I hit something on my way home and didn’t seem like he believed me. I told them to check their cameras and when I brought the car back to get it fixed they never told me what happened so I assume one of their employees did it. Now trying to get this dent fixed took about a month, they made me drive to the dealership 5 SEPARATE TIMES which is an hour away from me, just for the dent guy to eventually come to me and fix the dent. The last time I drove over there Josh finally felt bad and offered to fill up my gas tank, which I had just filled up before I drove over there. That was the only thing he offered to do for inconveniencing me the whole month. Anyway, while the salesman Josh G was telling us about the car and the ad that we saw, he tries to tell us right from start that there’s an automatic $1,500 “dealership package” that I have to pay for adding to the total price of the car. My dad demanded we didn’t want it and he said it’s not negotiable, it’s their dealership’s policy as to why they priced the car so cheap online. Obviously we can’t argue with that, we believed and trusted he was telling us the truth. Fast forward to signing the paperwork with just Chris (the finance manager) and myself in the room, he is flying through the paperwork, I didn’t get a chance to read anything - plus who reads ALL the fine print on these contracts anyway? I sure as xxxx will be from now on. One of the last things I had to sign, which was on an iPad was talking about their “dealership package” and clearly stated that it was OPTIONAL and was NOT required to purchase a car. The only reason I found that out was because I read reviews online after the fact and read all these horrible reviews. And turns out they scammed me just like every other person who doesn’t read the fine print and trusts the dealership isn’t lying to your face. Next, I initially did my financing through them so I could get the car that day, I then ended up getting my own financing through my bank a couple days later. The loan amount was for more than what it was when I was doing my financing through them and I didn’t catch it until after I made my first payment and realized how much the loan was. I then reached out to Chris and he admitted he messed up and left the GAP insurance on and he should’ve taken it off. So basically he owes me about $1,000. Fast forward, 3 MONTHS LATER and I STILL DON’T HAVE THE MONEY HE OWES ME. First of all, I live about an hour away from this dealership so its not like I can pop in and say where’s my money. Chris dragged me on for literally 3 months making excuses as to why my bank hasn’t gotten the check. I called around TEN TIMES to ask to speak to the general manager who conveniently is “in a meeting” EVERY TIME YOU CALL. And they ask to leave a message and for him to call you back and of course he doesn’t because he knows people are pissed off at the scam business he is running. My dad and I finally drove out of our way to go tell these people they owe me money and where is it but we still didn’t get it. They said it will be here in a couple days but I don’t believe anything they say. If possible AVOID THIS DEALERSHIP AND THEIR SCAMS. It’s unfortunate there are people like this in the world and made my first car buying experience AWFUL. If I could give zero stars I would. More

Just another Kia dealership that smiles to your face and stabs you in the back. They'll tell you anything to sell a car. When that piece of crap they sell you is defective, good luck getting them to fix it. stabs you in the back. They'll tell you anything to sell a car. When that piece of crap they sell you is defective, good luck getting them to fix it. Folks, you really don't want to buy a Kia. Defective engines, recall on connecting rods, possibly of catching fire and of easily being stolen. Also transmission and electrical issues. These are just problems I'm aware of, no telling what else could go wrong. If you don't believe me please look it up yourself. More

Sadly, By far the worst service Dept to take a KIA to get serviced. Money hungry place. TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMAN! Horrible service dept. PLEASE DO NOT EVEN TAKE YOUR KIA HERE TO BE SERVICED ! On th serviced. Money hungry place. TRY TO TAKE ADVANTAGE OF WOMAN! Horrible service dept. PLEASE DO NOT EVEN TAKE YOUR KIA HERE TO BE SERVICED ! On the 13th of this month I took my car here to get ONLY RECALLS done on my car. DROVE my car there with no problems & had my car towed back home, never a heads up from the dealer, that my car was no longer starting. Car is no longer in a running condition. The service manager, Andre as well as Mike Zaccardo , kept speaking to me like I never had a car in the state of Arizona and they both stressed that it was my battery and I should start there to ”save me some money. And as I love how Andre states “if I even have a warranty on my battery” not knowing I purchase top notch batteries 🤣 on top of that just purchased my battery 2 months ago. I did take my battery back to car quest and have my battery tested and it tested GOOD right away and the tech stated my car should have no troubles starting with this battery in your car. The problem is still a mystery as this Kia service dept won’t take my car back to see what they screwed up on , they want to charge me a tow fee and a $200 diagnostic fee to see what’s wrong with my car that NO LONGER STARTS UP after I DROVE MY VEHICLE THERE MYSELF RUNNING PERFECTLY FINE. They also put WATER in my coolant bucket, which I have never seen before in my car! Mike also did a WALK AROUND MY CAR WHEN DROPPING OFF THE VEHICLE AS THIS IS PROTOCAL AND TESTED MY BATTERY AND IT PASSED AS WELL . 🤔🤔😩😢😢😢❤️🩹❤️🩹 More

Will never buy from Horne Kia again. I bought a Pre Owned 2016 Honda Pilot here, only to find out it has transmission problems 10 days later. Day 10 I took it for a transmission fluid ch I bought a Pre Owned 2016 Honda Pilot here, only to find out it has transmission problems 10 days later. Day 10 I took it for a transmission fluid change at Honda and after about a week the kick backs in shifting gears were back….. During purchase I asked about warranties since I’m buying from a dealer I figured there would be at least a 30 day warranty or something since I’m paying premium compared to going through Craigslist. I kept being told finance will go over the warranty when I asked during the process. I signed a paper to buy the car only to find out, they only have a 3 day return opportunity “not a warranty which isn’t really disclosed” and their cheapest extended warranty was over $4000, obviously declined. I still bought saying to myself “this is a dealer, this car should be in great shape mechanically or it wouldn’t be on the lot”. Big Mistake Don’t buy pre owned from this dealer when they don’t have an included warranty on the cars themselves at all. On top of that it came with the “we already did the work” added in fees for paint protection, car theft and some other ridiculous non sense that’s never used which tacked on just over $1000. GO SOMEWHERE ELSE OR TO BE HONEST JUST BUY FROM CRAIGSLIST, THERE IS NOTHING HORNE KIA CAN DO THAT IS ANY DIFFERENT THEN BUYING FROM ANOTHER PERSON SELLING ONLINE. YOU WILL SAVE SEVERAL $1000s, EXTENDED WARRANTIES YOU CAN GET ON YOUR OWN, THATS CHEAPER! THEN THEIR COST. A REPLY FROM THE "GM" ALWAYS FOLLOWS A COMMENT TO CALL HIM, I HAVE AND EVERYTIME HE IS IN A MEETING SO I LEAVE A MESSAGE AND HAVE NEVER RECEIVED A CALL BACK. More
