We purchased a remote start as a Christmas gift for our son. I worked with Louis and made sure we would be set to have installed on Monday, December 28th as he does not live here but he bought his car ther son. He was so surprised and happy with this Christmas gift as he always gives us such thoughtful gifts. I had paid for it months before and we called the Saturday prior to confirm and also add an oil change. The Service Team said they could not do both in one day so we decided the car start would be installed on Monday and the oil change Tuesday. My son took off work. Tuesday afternoon we go pick up the car and after 40 minutes he comes out. I am so excited for him when he tells me that they never installed the remote start. They forgot. The car was there for two days with multiple calls to confirm. My son had to get back home and I was left standing in the parking lot feeling so bad for my son. I had to go in and wait for a refund of over $500 that I still don’t have. To say we were disappointed would be an understatement. We have purchased cars there before and were proud when our son bought his there. We have no gift for our son and his reply was, “it’s the thought that counts” I wish Oak Lawn Toyota would have thought to do what they said they would and wonder how they looked at that car for two days and gave it no thought. Heartbreaking! More
