Olivia Burns, let's recall that you had your 1996 Toyota Tercel towed in about 9 years ago because it would not go into gear. Justin wrote it up and let you know the transmission was beyond repair and needed to be replaced. He also let you know it was discontinued through Toyota and after an exhaustive search, we could not find a used transmission anywhere. We also told you that the car was not worth fixing even if we could find a transmission for it because of how expensive the repair would be, typically in the $1,500 - $2,000 range. The car wasn’t worth about $300 at the time as it had been wrecked and the hood, front bumper and front fenders were different colors from used parts. You asked Justin if he knew anyone that wanted to buy it. He told you that he would ask around but was pretty sure nobody would buy that car. After the car sat on the lot for over a YEAR & A HALF, the service manager at that time (Mark Beeker) had it towed to a storage lot along with several other vehicles that were considered abandoned. You have called in regularly every couple of years telling anyone that will listen that we stole your car! You've also called or had someone call impersonating a police officer saying that we stole her car 9 years ago! The fact is, you abandoned your car at our facility. Vehicles left here for over 90 days are subject to storage fees. You turned over your title to avoid the storage the fee's that you incurred by leaving it here for over 18 months. You made no effort to collect the car, and if you turn over the title, you have relinquished ownership willingly. So let's be fair to each other. This is unfortunate that your transmission died, but cars do not last forever and there is a point where dumping money into a car ceases to provide a value for the money spent. The money would've been better spent on replacing this car than repairing it. You did the right thing by NOT repairing it, but it's time to move on. We do wish you well

U all are telling me lies after lies there was poor communication and about the hood Justin sent me to a guy name sherman to fixed the hood for 700.00 and i also told him tat he was a crook and it was not the same color u all did not have my permission under any law to sell my car to a lady name kathy Mills i found out who u crooks sold the car to but could not get date u crooks sole car u can believe i am no going to tet it because i work hard to buy that car u didn't have any dignity to call to say u were having car towed. All i want is to paid something for u stealing my car $700.00 and i will let it go.

We service 350 cars per month here at Scott Clark Toyota and we work most efficient on appointments so we appreciate you setting that appointment. Appointments are a time for write-up and consultation with your advisor. The actual time your vehicle goes into the shop is totally dependent on the extent of the work involved in your vehicle and the vehicles that are already here. I see that you listed many of our employees as the folks that you worked with, some of which were not employed here at the time of your visit. Not sure which one you actually worked with on this visit but I will see if I can gather any more information from the ones that are still here.
