First let me say this is in NO WAY a reflection of the entire service department as I have had some "issues" in the past but nothing major and they have always been more than accomodating in getting thing entire service department as I have had some "issues" in the past but nothing major and they have always been more than accomodating in getting things resolved and Justin is by far the reason I continue to come back....with that said....this time took the cake. So, I went in for my JLU Power Steering recall which checked out all good but when they called me they noted a head gasket leak which was covered under warranty for the powertrain so yea go ahead and do it. I was told it would be ready at 5pm...I arrive and did not leave until 5:45pm, oh well no HUGE deal there. My issue comes in when I notice the tech re-installing my aftermarket fender liners. I asked why this was even removed and the tech said he had to make sure we dont have the AUX Start/Stop battery. I can tell you an easier way- does the vehicle have an alternator (NO, we do not) and if it does, and it has start/stop then yes, it has an Aux battery. If it has the MGU (we do) then NO it does not have the Aux battery- so that to me struck me as if you are a JEEP Tech, HOW would you not know this?! Anyway, when I return home my wife tells me theres something rattling on the passenger front wheel area....guess what was installed wrong and BROKEN while doing so? The wheel-well liner....ya know, the thing that should have NEVER been touched. So, now I get to figure out how to repair it to where it wont be annoying and doesnt pose a risk of falling mid ride and falling into the wheel/tire. More
