Will never buy from here again! I was assaulted by the GM and 3 employees. The GM (bald guy who would not tell me his name) threatened to punch me and "beat the xxxx outta me" ... I was assaulted by the GM and 3 employees. The GM (bald guy who would not tell me his name) threatened to punch me and "beat the xxxx outta me" ... Then got into my car while I was in front of it and he continued to drive into my legs, hitting me and as I lose my footing and fall into the hood of the car... I'm in literal shock. As I'm walking outside to try and get into my car... 3 other employees including BryceLanghurst, Mike Bushman, come to harass me. The GM gets out of my car to get in my face again to assault me ... Before getting back into my car to drive it clear across the lot... As I walk to my car across the lot, the 3 other employees insist on harassing me to my car... Then tell me I cannot leave... While 2 others tell me to leave and blocking my car. I have made a police report. I have video and pictures. Bought a 2023 Crown Limited that was suppose to be Gold Certified. To find out it was not properly certified being bated to buy this vehicle and lied to on the certification. Within the day of purchase I experienced problems like the software being 2 years old on the infotainment system which made my screen glitch, backup camera not working... Lane assist not working... Heated seats don't work.... Knocking in the engine when reversing... Horrible wind noise in the driver side... This is just a few. When I discuss these concerns in detail to the manager John, I get a one word reply, "Yep.". Absolutely unacceptable. This is shady and did nothing to compensate for this stress and straight up lie to a returning customer. dealership. Sad, unprofessional, unacceptable. My software was never updated the 7 days it was here... And when I complained about new scratches, that apparently was the last straw and they couldn't bare to take responsibility. I had just dropped a $14k down payment buying a $42k car... Didn't think my concerns were out of reach. No apology yet from Toyota or this dealership for such a horrible experience. More

She took the time to talk with me about what I was looking for and was able to point out the pros and cons of the different vehicles I was interested in regarding how they would or would not meet what I was looking for. Ultimately I decided upon a 2019 RAV4 Hybrid. And this vehicle meets all of my needs. There was absolutely no pressure and Bethany allowed me to set the pace regarding making a decision regarding everything. She answered every question honestly and was tactful when the answer wasn't necessarily what I was hoping to hear. But it was the "no bull" approach that I appreciated and helps me feel the most confident in the decision I have made regarding choosing the RAV4 Hybrid. Bethany is a superstar! JUSTIN HESS - When Bethany wasn't able to go on a test drive with me (she needed to finish up with another customer) Justin Hess stepped up. His approach was the same - honest. I knew he was busy but at no time did I feel I was an inconvenience to him. And at other times when I was working with Bethany, he would stop by to say, "Hi" and see how I was doing. I felt he genuinely cared. CURT WIEDEMEIER - Curt worked with me for financing. Another superstar! He walked me through everything and made sure I understood all of the various programs and warranties (reinforcing what Bethany had talked with me about). At no time did I feel any pressure and his years of experience really was evident in the time and consideration he gave me in going through the "paperwork" to make it as painless and understandable as possible. Thanks again, Curt! JOHN NUS - As a former Navy member, I honestly believe that the effectiveness and reputation of a command is a direct reflection of the commanding officer. I commend John for surrounding himself with individuals who care about the customer first and strive for excellence in customer service. I knew John and his family from many, many years ago and he carries the values and sense of family with Cedar Rapids Toyota he had back then. I wasn't aware he was the sales manager and when I met him near the end of the 1st day I was there, it all made sense regarding why everyone I came in contact with were so fantastic. They didn’t push me to buy anything extra but still offered and explained the details and fine print of each and every warranty, I’m young so I’m still new to buying from dealerships... with that being said, they didnt at all try to take advantage of my age and got me into the exact car I came there for!!! I came into CR Toyota with an idea of what I wanted. I met Chuck when he braved the frigid weather and came out to the lot. We took a Tacoma TRD Sport for a drive. It was not a good fit. Chuck didn't presuure. I didn't want the payments of new but also didn't want the uncertainty of used. Chuck said he would keep an eye for a CPO--there weren't many on the lot at the time. Chuck kept in touch to give me updates even though want I wanted still wasn't there. One day I was online looking again, there was a possibility. I contacted CR Toyota on a Sunday evening via chat. Chuck responded the next morning, I came by, test drove, and we came to an agreement. I've been coming to CR Toyota for 9 years. New purchase in 2010 and all services since then. All staff have been decent, interested, and considerate everytime. Some, I talk to everytime as well. When I was looking this time, I'd received recommendations for other dealerships but the service, staff, and customer service of CR Toyota make me feel valued and comfortable.
