Professional, NOT Pushy. GREAT Experience Okay so I was in the market for a new (smaller engine) vehicle; Saturday 17JUN I visited Sunset Ford (St. Louis) because I had been eyeballing an Oxfo Okay so I was in the market for a new (smaller engine) vehicle; Saturday 17JUN I visited Sunset Ford (St. Louis) because I had been eyeballing an Oxford White Focus they had on their lot. My wife accompanied me and we walked the lot, looked at some of their stock, then went to Bandana's BBQ in the adjacent lot for lunch. We discussed in depth me looking at the White 2016 that kept catching my eye: 2016 Focus SE Hatchback with a sunroof, backup camera, and less than 34k on the clock. Pardon my language but combined with the lifetime warranty from Sunset Ford, it was a xxxx of a deal and I would have been a fool to pass on inquiring on it. The thing that made the complete transaction as smooth as possible was our salesman, Jim Wagstaff. Jim was pleasant and professional when approaching my wife and I in the lot and wasn't an annoyance. We asked if I could take the Focus for a spin and I instantly fell in love with it. When we returned to the lot, we were more than ready to sit down with Jim and begin hashing out a deal for said car. Within about an hour and a half they had made me an unrefusable offer on my trade-in and an amazing offer on the Focus. By end-of-business, my wife and I rode home in my brand new 2016 Focus SE. Honeslty though, even though I was (and am) in love with the Focus, the deal probably wouldnt have been made if Jim was a pushy salesman. He was attentive to my questions and even laughed at my corny jokes (even though they most likely weren't funny).. This Ford dealership's current slogan is "Dont close the Deal til Sunset". If it wasn't for the well trained and courteous salesperson, this deal most likely WOULDN'T have been made. Long winded but overall: My wife and I were impressed with Jim and the car buying experience at Sunset Ford. I can def. see me doing business here again in the future, and sending any of my friends/family to see Mr. Wagstaff. Thank you Jim and Sunset staff who helped me with the purchase of my new ride. More

Really easy and straight forward. No tricks. It was the first time I've ever bought a car. Keith was very straight forward with the deal he was giving me. And he gave me all the details of the Nissan Juke I had dreamed about. Not only did I get a great deal, he was always happy to help with any sort of concern I had about the vehicle. There were some hard water spots on the car and instead of just ignoring it, he was very understanding and took my car to the detailing shop to get it taken care of. I consider myself so lucky to have had such a great experience at a dealership despite being very cautious and apprehensive when I walked in. Thank you for everything, Keith & Justin! More

Went in to purchase a used car for my wife and buy the time we were done we purcha Sunset Ford in St. Louis, MO is a great place to buy a car or two. Went in to purchase a used car for my wife and buy the time we were done we purchased two cars. My wife upgrades from a 2013 Escape (also from Sunset) to a 2014 Explorer. We needed more space. While we were there we started talking about maybe replacing my 2012 Ford Flex (also from Sunset). It is my work vehicle and I had 177,000 miles on it. Ended up making a deal on it too. Went with a 2014 Chevy Traverse they had on the lot. Mike Geraghty worked his magic like he has done in the past and we left as very happy customers with 2 New Used Cars. Treff LaPlant & Justin Lombard were our Financial guy's and they were able to get us great rates on both deals. The three of them (Mike, Treff & Justin) made buying 2 cars a very pleasant and easy process. We will deal with them again when the need for another vehicle arrives. Blessing Dave & Brenda More

I visited Sunset Ford for an initial test drive and worked with Tim Stewart. There was a no pressure atmosphere at Sunset Ford. I was able to do a test drive and get information without having the high pressure sales pitch. At other dealerships I felt that I was having constant car sales games played. At Sunset I was given an upfront and competitive price with an easy process. I’d recommend Sunset to anyone looking to buy a car and would highly recommend working with Tim Stewart. More

Sam Martin is Excellent I purchased a used F150. I was in the market for 2 months before identifying the right vehicle and making the purchase. During this time, I visited I purchased a used F150. I was in the market for 2 months before identifying the right vehicle and making the purchase. During this time, I visited the Sunset Ford dealership multiple times to see Sam Martin, and I also spoke with him by phone multiple times. Sam focused on helping me find the right vehicle and then completing the sale versus the stereotypical car sales tactic of turning up the pressure to make the sale after your first test drive. I am detail oriented and can be a challenge to work with. Sam was very patient with me. When I took possession of the F150, I was on a tight timeline. I met with Justin Lombard in finance to complete the paperwork. He was efficient, moved quickly, but still took the time to explain documents and answer questions as they came up. My only negative comment about the Sunset Ford experience is that the truck only had a ½ tank of gas when I picked it up. I asked to have it filled but learned dealership policy is that they add no more than 5 gallons of gas to a tank that is not full. This is the first car purchas I’ve ever made where the gas tank was not filled by the dealership before I took possession. Bottom line, if you are in the market for a new or used vehicle, you should not make a final decision before checking out Sunset Ford and specifically, seeing Sam Martin. More
