I have been a customer at Gates Nissan Richmond for over 15 years. This week I purchased my third new vehicle from them. Aladdin worked with me, and he is amazing! So knowledgeable. He explained and dem 15 years. This week I purchased my third new vehicle from them. Aladdin worked with me, and he is amazing! So knowledgeable. He explained and demonstrated all aspects of the car, and was a whiz in connecting my phone with all the technological components of the car. The vehicle I traded in was eight years old and I had no idea auto technology had changed so much in eight years. I know I'll be calling him to find out how to change a feature or how to set something up. Only Gates services my vehicles. The service department always friendly, always helpful. Jobs done right the first time. Never any do-overs. Kathy and Brian have been in the service department all the years I've been going to Gates. They always explain what repairs/service was done and what future maintenance/service may be needed. Gates is a great dealership. No pressure or pushy people. They will work with you in any way possible to make you a happy customer. More

First off I'm not good at writing reviews but here goes. I purchased my first new car at Gates Nissan in October of 2020. A salesman by the name of Michael Stidham showed me a few vehicles. He was knowledge I purchased my first new car at Gates Nissan in October of 2020. A salesman by the name of Michael Stidham showed me a few vehicles. He was knowledgeable and kind. Made my experience truly pleasant. I did purchase a vehicle with his help. I continued to have my vehicle serviced at the dealership. The service staff is excellent. Thank you Gerald, Andrea, Kathy and the guys in the shop. Fast forward to March of 2025. I purchased another vehicle with the help of Megan Gross. She was also knowledgeable and kind. A pleasure to deal with. Thank you Megan. And thank you Emily and Victoria. Thank you to Kim who transfers my calls. One last thing. I do wish the checkout counter was a little friendly but you never know what someone is going thru. Thank you Gates Nissan. More

Worst service department I've ever dealt with. I've owned 7 Nissans from gates and I'M DONE. They will make some kind of excuse why they can't fix your vehical or tell you there is nothing wrong w I've owned 7 Nissans from gates and I'M DONE. They will make some kind of excuse why they can't fix your vehical or tell you there is nothing wrong with it.l everytime. Happened multiple times now with several different vehicals. Last week took new Frontier in for 1st service. Seat has rocked back and forth since I brought it home. Thought I would just get it fixed during first service. They changed oil and pulled it back in the bay and said nothing was wrong. I said they didn't drive it then because the seat rocks everytime you take off and stop. Sat there for close to another hour. Never saw the truck leave and they said someone else looked at it and nothing was wrong. Guess I'll just drive this piece of xxxx with the seat rocking back and forth. 6,000 miles on it. I guess they come standard with rocking chairs now. I could go on and on about this service department, but how about I take my business elsewhere from now on. DONT USE GATES FORD, NISSAN, TOYOTA AND ON AND ON. Find a dealer that Steve gates dosent own. Buyer beware. More

We have purchased our last two vehicles from Gates Nissan. We trust the brand and we trust Scott. He has kept our needs and wants at the top of his priority list and has been very accommodating (no pr Nissan. We trust the brand and we trust Scott. He has kept our needs and wants at the top of his priority list and has been very accommodating (no pressure) as we went through the shopping and buying process - and we move slow and deliberate so patience on their side was needed and they delivered. The whole team at Gates has been knowledgeable, very friendly and willing to work with us to find a fair price. We worked with Keyara Hamilton and could not have been more pleased with her effort. She was knowledgeable, friendly and professional - a great combination. The Service team is outstanding as well and one of the key reasons we came back to Gates. Kudos to Kathy Smith. Victoria Hobbs (Online Sales) met us at the door with a smile and set the tone for our experience in a friendly and positive manner with a smile and a positive, energetic and helpful attitude.
