* If I could give this review a 0 star rating I would * My experience with the service department in Robinson was horrible with absolutely no communication! I dropped my car off on a Tuesday morning with a check engine light and an unusual sound when braking. I explained my car had recently been inspected and was assured it was not my brakes. No check-in call Tuesday or Wednesday to say anything about my vehicle. After trying to call numerous in the past 2 days with no response, my husband & I stopped in Thursday to see what was happening. I was reassured they were working with "Kia Engineering" as they were able to reproduce the sound, but didn't know what it was. Nick, the service manager, gave us his cell number and said we could check in personally with him. We also asked about the check engine light and Nick said, "it is not our policy to start throwing parts at cars to get an engine light resolved." He assured us they were working with KIA Engineering and thought the check engine light may be tied to my initial complaint. The only time we got a return call was the following week, explaining that our car needed a battery. Why did it take over a week to let us know my car needed a battery? My car is 2 years old and covered under warranty. No loaner was offered as they said, "all the loaners were out and I don't know when any will be returned." They had no answers or even an update about how things were going with KIA Engineering. We even texted Nick multiple times with no response from him (so much for having his cell phone). Every time we stopped in there, there were a line of in-takes for service. They are only interested in making $$$ doing simple repairs. I picked up my car the following Thursday (9 days after dropping it off) with no resolution. I even decided to get a battery elsewhere and they didn't care at all. They were very glad to be done with my car and couldn't care less if the problem was fixed. I love my KIA, but would NEVER buy a vehicle from Robinson again. I would caution others to buy or get any type of service from this dealership as well. The lack of customer service was a disgrace. More

DO NOT BUY A KIA OR HAVE SERVICE DONE AT THIS LOCATION…I have experienced it first hand. If I prevent just 1 person buying a Kia and or using this service center I can live the rest of my life knowing I’ have experienced it first hand. If I prevent just 1 person buying a Kia and or using this service center I can live the rest of my life knowing I’ve done a good deed. Buying a Kia - Kia’s are known for their oil consumption and engine problems. Go on google and type in “Kia engine issues” or “Kia Oil consumption”. Look up TSB ENG222. They acknowledge that they consider it “acceptable” to burn 1qt per 1,000 miles. You will not get 5,000 miles out of an oil change. The car will sputter, shake, and fail. You will stop at an auto parts store and constantly spend 30 dollars to top off your oil. Save yourself heartache, money, and time. Buy a Honda, Toyota, or Ford. This service center. Where do I even begin. My husband tried to start oil consumption tests repeatedly. Every time he was met with “don’t waste your time, they are practically impossible to beat. You have to burn >1000 miles.” They will mislead you and blame it on spark plugs, small oil leakage, or anything that they can push until you are out of warranty and out of their hair. Go to a local mechanic build a relationship, and use them. Going to a Kia service center DOES NOT earn you any good will. Please google those terms I listed above before test driving or using this service center. Clearly not. It leads to a 10,000 dollar engine replacement, no car, and absolute misery More

First, I want to say the sales staff and Ryan Martin are phenomenal. Marty has been cordial, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. However, the service side seems to be completely incompetent. I bought a phenomenal. Marty has been cordial, helpful, and a pleasure to work with. However, the service side seems to be completely incompetent. I bought a car a few months ago and prepared to do my first oil change. I do them myself since they're simple. I jacked my car up and found that whoever did the last oil change tightened the oil plug so hard, it actually rounded off the edges of the bolt. I did not want to attempt to get it off, since I didn't know if it would tighten back on; however, I bought the additional vehicle service contract for coverage and I was still under the coverage of the dealership as well. Called the service department and they were absolutely no help. Didn't take my name or look me up. Just said I have to talk to my salesman. I get ahold of Marty, he speaks with his GM, and they get it set up to help me out. I schedule the work out approximately 10 days ahead of time. I arrived at 9:30 a.m. for my appointment. I did not leave until nearly 3 p.m. I was supposed to work that day after they were done. It took them 4 hours to even get my car on a lift for an appointment that we scheduled. They gave me their "availability" and I made it work. I wish that was the end of it. 4.5 hours in, they tell me they never ordered the oil filter, it'll take 30 minutes to be delivered. Seems odd since I scheduled the job ahead of time, but whatever. 4.5 hours in, 30 minutes isn't the worst thing to hear. However, 5 hours in, they tell me they didn't even order the bolt that I specifically told them over the phone to order, talked to them in the morning when I got there, and several times throughout the day. So, effectively, they took 5+ hours to do an oil change. I could've done it myself in 20 minutes. Completely unacceptable. More

My experience at this dealership was absolutely TERRIBLE!!! Don't go here unless you want to be scammed and receive abysmal customer service. I brought my car in, a 2018 Kia Optima, for a state in TERRIBLE!!! Don't go here unless you want to be scammed and receive abysmal customer service. I brought my car in, a 2018 Kia Optima, for a state inspection and oil change on 7/6/2021. Upon completion of said inspection, the service department informed me that my car was in perfect working order and no adjustments needed to be made. For informative purposes, I bought the car brand new and have never had any issues with my vehicle, excluding regular maintenance as necessary. Today, as I was driving down the 376 West, my car suddenly started making an incredibly loud scraping noise. At first, I thought it was a faulty brake caliper or a dragging muffler, however, when I pulled over and inspected the underside of the car, the floor board had become disengaged from the vehicle and had been dragging on the road. Since I was close by, I pulled into the South Hills Kia dealership, who had serviced my car in the past. The only reason I started bringing my car to #1 Cochran Kia in Robinson was because I had relocated to Moon Township, otherwise, I would have had no reason to change as South Hills Kia always provided me with exemplary customer service, prompt communication, and a timely turn around. When the service team at South Hills Kia had the car up in the air, they showed me the damage and explained that the reason the floor panel became loose was that it was not reassembled correctly after it was serviced last (approximately 9 days period). At first, they attempted to secure the floor board to the car with zip ties, but later decided against this as they weren't confident the floor board would remain safely secured. They offered to fix it at their location, but strongly recommended that I bring it back to #1 Cochran so I could show them what happened. I agreed that this was the right thing to do and, being that the floor board could not be reattached, they ended up removing the panel completely. From there, I drove straight to #1 Cochran in Robinson. I attempted to call the service department there, however, nobody answered so I left a voicemail for the service manager. I would like to further elaborate that I never received a follow up call after that message was left. Once I arrived at the dealership in Robinson, I explained what the South Hills Kia team discovered. The service manager at #1 Cochran Kia asked me to leave my car there and they would take a look at it and get it fixed. Finally, at approximately 6:19 pm, well after the service department closed, I received a voicemail from the service manager informing me of the situation. Per his voicemail, he stated that dangling floorboard dragging across the road was, "towards the back of the car, and not the front" and that he thought the only reason for that happening was that "something on the road kicked up and pulled it down." I find it insulting that someone would dispute what I, as well as the service of team at South Hills Kia, observed with our own eyes. They showed me where the panel had become loose, and it was located in the front, directly behind the front passenger side wheel well, and not the back as they were falsely implying. I would like to add, the road was completely free of debris and nothing was "kicked up" under the car. To add insult to injury, I was informed that the floor board was "not important," however, it I wished to have it replaced, the part would cost $224.37 not including labor. Instead of being accountable for their actions, #1 Cochran KIA is content to patently deceive their customers, lying to them, and ultimately extorting every cent they can.I took my business to South Hills Kia instead and received superior customer service. This could have been completed Made me wait 1 hour to put 2 batteries in 2 key fobs for keyless entry system. Charged $100.09 for 2 $3.00 batteries. This could have been completed in 4 minutes! Had I not been late for an appointment I would have asked to see his boss. I have had two KIA autos and will probably never purchase another one and will inform all my friends and acquaintances of the experience. Service is an important part when deciding to purchase an automobile. You must have trust in the facility's integrity. More
