Besides lying about the prices of the various warranties and services he was trying to sell, he also lied about the need to buy them at time of purchase. Most outrageous, he attempted to add the price of the extended warranty we purchased for the new vehicle both to the down payment amount and to the loan amount. This is even worse than the false representations made by the sales personnel about features on our vehicle that are not even options on the vehicle. More

New car purchase I came into dealership to just look. I had an idea what I desired but my wife wanted all the bells and whistles on her car. Kent Owens introduced hi I came into dealership to just look. I had an idea what I desired but my wife wanted all the bells and whistles on her car. Kent Owens introduced himself and quickly directed us as to what was available. Kent is an extremely accomplished. comunicator and patient. He didn’t try to sell us a car but politely addressed the issues we presented. While looking for a Rx450h, we kept passing a car that drew me in closer each time by. Kent took us for a test drive in the Rx and when we returned parked next to the alluring machine that was beckoning me over. We test drove that car as well. Consequently, due to excellent financing and salesmanship, we purchased the Rx450h. Kent never pressured or pushed a sale. As a result, I also purchased the mystery automobile that immediately captured my interest. I didn’t come to the dealership that day to buy a car but with Kent Ownens help I left with two.
