I should start by saying that I spent several months looking for a car. This current, Covid-delayed market makes them so hard to find, particularly in the exact color/style that you want. I did some online searching and found that Carter Chevrolet had what I was looking for. We reached out to Carter and made an appointment with Kevin DeLuna to do a test drive. We arrived for the appointment, only to find a guy who looked like he stepped out of a Duck Dynasty taping to do a car sale lol. He had the long beard and everything. Honestly, seeing him in normal clothes and the long beard instantly made the whole transaction more relaxed. It made us actually want to be there. Normally, I'm just itching to leave when we're doing a car deal. Kevin had the car waiting and ready for me to view. He handed me the keys and let me loose to do the test drive, all by myself. I've got to say that, doing the test drive alone really makes a difference. You can really focus on what you're doing and get a feel for the car, without having the added pressure of a salesman in the car. Speaking of salesmen, Kevin was amazing! Literally zero pressure. He treated us like we were friends; not like he was all about a sale. It really shows that their motto of "Making Friends, Selling Cars, IN THAT ORDER" isn't just BS! The whole vibe of Carter Chevrolet is very relaxed, honest and real. We're from Arcadia and drove all the way to Okarche to get this car. I would absolutely keep making that drive, just so we have the same, relaxed experience. I can't say enough about Carter Chevrolet and Kevin DeLuna. I really appreciate Kevin's positive attitude, honesty, and the fact that he didn't act like the typical douchey salesman that most dealerships have. Carter Chevy is doing something right, folks! It's 1000% worth the drive, just for the experience. When we finished the deal, we even got vouchers for free chicken/food at Eishen's. If you don't know, Eishen's has some of the best chicken in the state! We highly recommend Carter Chevrolet and Kevin DeLuna. Head on over. You won't regret it!! More
