This service was the first service on the vehicle since purchase a year ago. I was in and out fairly quickly. Service writer looked up recall on the vehicle, go those taken care of. Got oil change and l purchase a year ago. I was in and out fairly quickly. Service writer looked up recall on the vehicle, go those taken care of. Got oil change and lube, tech looked at the front end for a clunking while towing our fifth wheel, I am sure they did other services. Overall pleasant experience. I believe it was Brian as the service writer. More

I started by chosing Ferguson GMC because I figured the mechanics working there would be well educated in all things related to GMC Deisel. So I brought my 2500HD in for an error showing a fault air inta mechanics working there would be well educated in all things related to GMC Deisel. So I brought my 2500HD in for an error showing a fault air intake preheater. They replaced the preheater and the battery distribution fuse. So far so good. But I was charged over $400 for the fuse. I looked it up and an OEM fuse should only be about 75-85 dollars!!! I guess that's the price I pay for taking it to GMC instead of a standard tech. As if that wasn't bad enough. I only drive the truck occasionally to haul or tow stuff. A few weeks later it had a really hard time starting. A friend that is a diesel tech said that maybe there was a bleed in the fuel line and to check it the next day. So, the next day it started right up. I began to notice that anytime I didn't drive it for a few days it would have to crank longer to start. Which had me thinking the batteries were weak from not being driven much. Then this extreme cold was moving in, so I popped the hood to hook up my battery charger. Thats when I noticed the ground from the driver's side battery was not connected!!! I'm guessing they disconnected it to perform the work, but to leave it disconnected is a real shade tree mechanic move. I sure am glad I didn't go through the trouble of scheduling additional service and bringing it back in.... That was my next course of action had the battery charging not fixed it. More

I bought my 2022 Buick Encore in May with the understanding that it would be retrofitted with 2 different chips when they became available. It is now December and there is no sign at all that the understanding that it would be retrofitted with 2 different chips when they became available. It is now December and there is no sign at all that the chips are any closer. Now I can live without heated seats that I am paying for and don’t have but I need the rear view assist that I.am also paying for. I got on the Ferguson Buick website in late October and made an appointment for Nov. 4th to get one of the chips. On that day I went to Ferguson and they said I should have called and confirmed they had the chip because they didn’t have it after all. I would warn everyone in search of a car not to count on the dealership to take care of you once you have bought from them. Wow. The enail is confirming the appointment was sent from someone listed on the next page. The service people completely mislead me. More
