Wore me down. I came in with a number that I wanted for my trade-in and they didn't meet it so I said I couldn't afford the monthly payment. Then they made me wait I came in with a number that I wanted for my trade-in and they didn't meet it so I said I couldn't afford the monthly payment. Then they made me wait again and said maybe they could come up a little bit on the price of my trade-in they came back with the price closer to what I wanted; however I realized I still couldn't afford the monthly payments. I was fine with walking away from the deal and I explained that I was appreciative of their help and it gave me a better idea of what I needed to do to get be at a price point for a monthly payment moving forward, but no, they had me wait again only to come back at a higher value for my trade in which did get me to the price point that I wanted. It was a little annoying that they originally came in at $5,000 for my trade-in, said they couldn't go any higher, and that was a fair deal, but by the end of the night they came up almost $2,500 on the value of my trade-in. They wore me down, I honestly thought about walking out just because they made me wait so long. I don't recommend that you tire your clients out unless your end game is to wear them down so they just sign on the dotted line. I will say that Cody in finance and Jeff the salesmen were very nice to work with however the back-and-forth games of waiting for the sales manager got very tiring and I won't be going back to Brad Deery motors for another vehicle. More
