This has been the best experience in buying a car. I told Gerry Johnson what I had to spend and what I'd like in a car. He found two to choose from and without pressure let me come to a decision. UPDATE:After sharing my displeasure with Luther, I was UPDATE: After sharing my displeasure with Luther, I was given the opportunity to negotiate with another finance individual who was extremely personab UPDATE: After sharing my displeasure with Luther, I was given the opportunity to negotiate with another finance individual who was extremely personable and very kind making the transaction hassle free and pleasant (the Luther care I am accustomed to). Once a trusted Luther buyer (3rd Luther purchase, 1st used solo purchase without my spouse). I was very pleased with the salesman, however, very disappointed in the bout of attitude displayed during an attempted, nonexistent negotiation. I felt rushed, like I was an inconvenience, and am not satisfied nor confident in my purchase. Seeing as there was not mileage displayed on the internet advertisement for the vehicle, the KBB value was skewed - shame on me for not noticing it beforehand. The bottom line is follow the golden rule and treat others as you would like to be treated. Being in customer service for many years myself, on my worst day I wouldn't have let my attitude show, regardless of the personal or professional stressors I may be dealing with, over a simple negotiation request. I should have kindly asked for my keys and walked out as others I've shared the experience with had suggested. More
