Those four visits to Five Star Ford have resulted in us driving off in a new vehicle after each visit. On each of those four occasions, we have dealt with two outstanding Five Star employees. Our vehicle buying experience has been enriched with the assistance, guidance, and pleasure of working with Doreen Parker Bainbride and Leonard (Lee) Clanton. Both Doreen and Lee have been the most professional and caring people that we have had the privilege to assist us with the buying of a new vehicle. Buying a new car is an experience that should not be taken lightly and one that is very important to the buyer and his/her family for a considerable amount of invested time and money. Replacing My Ford Edge I have always purchased my vehicles in Arlington Tx at Texan Ford (now known as AutoNation). Two Years ago we decided to go to 5 star and purchase a 2 I have always purchased my vehicles in Arlington Tx at Texan Ford (now known as AutoNation). Two Years ago we decided to go to 5 star and purchase a 2015 Ford Edge. Jason Howell helped us and it was a great experience. Last January 2017 I was hit from behind and my edge was totaled. The impact was so hard my divers seat broke. Thankfully I was not hurt but I had only had my Edge 14 months and all the equity I had in it was gone. I didn't have a down payment so I started looking for a used edge to replace the one I had. As soon as I would find one and call on it was being looked at or papers were signed that morning. I had called 5 start used cars and spoke to Juan and I told him the one I lost I had bought from them and Jason helped me. He said he would look and get back to me. to my surprise a few hours later Jason called me. He said he heard what happened and they would get me in a car. He texted me pictures of one and it just wasn't what I wanted. So Friday 02/11/2017 I Showed up at the dealership around 3:00PM and I was out by 5 with the perfect car. I have never had such an easy purchase. My payments are a little higher and I needed gap insurance but I couldn't be more pleased with the whole experience. Drive off the lot in 4 hours, start to finish Yesterday, I bought my second Ford Edge SEL from Sam Pack in NRH. I made an appointment for 10 AM so they knew I was coming but I had my paperwork an Yesterday, I bought my second Ford Edge SEL from Sam Pack in NRH. I made an appointment for 10 AM so they knew I was coming but I had my paperwork and key in my hand by 1:30 the same day. I am always impressed by the Sam Pack organization and operation. Everyone from the salespersons to finance to service and body shop have one purpose: make the "guest's" experience a good one! Notice I did not say "customer." That is what we are, guests! They work on the theory that you treat a guest better than you would simply a customer...and they do. My experience with my last car was superior, everything from salesman, the price, a pretty good (expensive) accident which was repaired in the Service Department and then a very minor accident that was handled in the Body Shop, was as good as it could be. Everyone that I had contact with was courteous, efficient, pleasant...just the kind of folks you want to do business with! I am 72 years old. I had my previous 2013 Edge long enough to worry a little about trading it in because I was cranking up the miles, 80K. I had had NO trouble with the vehicle at all but I live out in the country and wanted to exchange vehicles so I wouldn't have trouble and to protect my investment. Since my previous experience had been so good, I went back to Five Star. This is a 42 mile drive for me through the worst construction in Tarrant County. I made an appointment for 10 AM Monday. My salesman, Lee Clanton, came into the office sick, just recovering from the flu, to see me and subsequently make the sale. He already had selected three vehicles that met the requirements I gave him, one used and two new. The used 2014 Edge was in superior shape and with 40K fewer miles that my 2013. I liked it except for the MyFord package. Then he showed me a 2017 SEL equipped exactly as I wanted and they had it in two colors. I drove it and fell in love. The 2017 Edge is so much nicer vehicle than my 2013. The styling, technology, handling, road noise is so much better, it is incredible. The 2013 was no slouch but the 2017 is a dream! Five Star gave me an excellent trade-in on my 2013 and a very good price on the 2017. Anyway, on with my story. I selected one of the new SELs and started through the process. The finance step with Ken McLemore was quick and painless. It only took as long as it did because of all the paperwork then back to Lee who had my keys to the new car. In and out in about 3 1/2 hrs. That is fudging a little bit. I did spend tome with Jimmie Mathews on the considerable technology involved in the new cars. He is amazing in every way. On my 2013, the most difficult thing about it was setting up the phone and Bluetooth. On my new one, I picked up a navigation package. The phone operates about the same way as the 2013. Only minor differences. The navigation system is a whole different thing, quite like Google Maps. It is very intuitive. At my age, telling me something once usually doesn't sink in. I takes more than once. Jimmie, besides his enormous knowledge is VERY patient and a good communicator. He managed to get me through , I think, most of the issues. I was able to start the car after I stopped at the QT next door and then find my way home. I cannot say enough good about Five Star and their employees. I will definitely go back there when I am ready for another Ford! More

Good deal, no hassle Five Star gave me their bottom line price very quickly and were able to work with me on my trade-in. I had it appraised elsewhere and they offered the same amount another dealership appraised it at without knowing how much I was offered. The make ready department could have done better on the clean-up on the interior of the vehicle, but it wasn't a huge deal, just various stickers left that could have been removed. I was very happy the finance department accepted my response that I would not be buying an extended warranty and didn't try to push it like they usually do at this dealership. More
