I have an 08 Camry and I have a serious safety issue of not being able to see out of my rear window because the defroster does not work properly. I say the visit was a waste of time because I already tried to have my defroster repaired at this dealership before and they told me that despite the service charge, they could not fix my defroster. Because a rear defroster is a safety issue, and because Toyota is the manufacturer of my vehicle, it was my impression that as a merchant, Maita Toyota has a higher degree responsibility to ensure that if a customer has a safety hazard that he or she intends to have repaired, it be repaired. For that reason, I returned to Maita Toyota for a second time in effort to have my rear defroster satisfactorily repaired. The service member admitted that the warming of the defroster was slow and not functioning properly. The service center could not diagnose what specifically was not working and I again left Maita Toyota with a defroster that does not defrost my rear window. I am very disappointed that Toyota does not seem to take my safety concern seriously. The negligence of the Toyota is disturbing. As confidence to my review, I am an easy to satisfy customer who appreciates the hard work and respect I received while at Maita Toyota. As stated above, the persons working at Maita Toyota conduct themselves as professionals. Still, I did not return to Maita Toyota because I enjoy waiting around while my car is serviced or because I was trying to make friends. I returned to see that a safety concern of mine be alleviated. It was not. And now as the loyal Toyota customer that I have been, have a Toyota vehicle that has a safety hazard that evidently cannot or will not be repaired by the manufacturer's dealership. I am disappointed that it is seemingly time that I must consider selling my car and looking to another manufacturer capable and willing to stand by their vehicles. More

My current car was purchased in 1999 in the Bay Area, and I moved to Sacramento in 2000. I have not had this car serviced anywhere else, as I have been very pleased with the maintenance performed on my car; and with the great customer service. I work an early shift at work. Many times I have brought my car in the day before a service appointment, pick up a rental car (at a very inexpensive rate), and then receive a call at work the next day saying my car has been serviced and ready to be picked up. Over the years there has been a serious effort to improve. My experience on Dec. 30 was because of a flat tire and the replacement of the flat. So without an appointment I came in and was taken care of efficiently. The bad part was that I had to wait for more than 2 hours to get a new tire put on. My service person did explain that there were a lot of other customers with tire problems. More

Service Department From the year 2000 to current, I still take my car in for services. The employees are wonderful and outstanding!
