EVALUATING CITY WORLD'S SERVICES/PERFORMANCE DESPITE AN INITIAL MISCOMMUNICATION REGARDING A 1.9 APR, EVERYTHING ULTIMATELY HAD A SMOOTH SAILING. INDEED, JERMAINE SAVED THE DAY WITH HIS DISPLAY O DESPITE AN INITIAL MISCOMMUNICATION REGARDING A 1.9 APR, EVERYTHING ULTIMATELY HAD A SMOOTH SAILING. INDEED, JERMAINE SAVED THE DAY WITH HIS DISPLAY OF UNPARALLELED LEVEL OF PROFESSIONALISM, WARMTH, AMAZING FRIENDLINESS AND, MORE IMPORTANTLY, THE DEPTH OF KNOWLEDGE WITH REGARDS TO HIS PROFESSION. AMONG OTHER THINGS, JERMAINE STAYED WITH ME TO MAKE SURE THAT I BECAME FAMILIARIZED WITH EVERY ASPECT OF MY NEW TRUCK AND HELPED ME WITH SOME OF THE NEW SETTINGS. JERMAINE IS SUCH AN ASSET TO CITY WORLD AND MY SUGGESTION IS FOR CITY WORLD TO HIRE MORE JERMAINS. More

Fantastic!!! I had a wonderful experience purchasing a second vehicle from City World Toyota in the Bronx. The employees, Jermain Bennett, Leo Bonetti and Jose V I had a wonderful experience purchasing a second vehicle from City World Toyota in the Bronx. The employees, Jermain Bennett, Leo Bonetti and Jose Valerio were very helpful, polite and professionals in getting me through the process of buying my car. Jermain especially was helpful. His kindness was overwhelming with much patience. Our day was long together and satisfying because I ended up with a lovely Corolla and a happy salesman. I certainly would recommend his team to people who are interested in buying a TOYOTA. GREAT JOB GUYS!!!! More

ZERO INTEGRITY Salesman Kieth was extremely dishonest in how he presented the sales price of the car and fees. At point of purchase he added another $3,000.00 in “fe Salesman Kieth was extremely dishonest in how he presented the sales price of the car and fees. At point of purchase he added another $3,000.00 in “fees” without informing us Of the differential. Once the contract had the, signature he rushed my mother citing the fact that the business had to close. Upon further review of the contract at home, we realized the error and tried to rectify. Keith insisted that my mother was LYING and that he informed us of all pertinent fees. When requesting the itemization of the contract, he said “it needs to be shredded in 48 hours for client privacy purposes”. STAY AWAY FROM THE DEALERSHIP AND THIS SALESMAN AT ALL TIMES. DISHONEST SHADY AND NO INTEGRITY! More

The Old Bait and Switch This is the 5th Toyota dealership I have visited in the last month. It is, by far, the worst business in the tri-state area if not the country. Th This is the 5th Toyota dealership I have visited in the last month. It is, by far, the worst business in the tri-state area if not the country. They literally low-low-balled me on my trade! Their car had a very attractive price. Then once I was there the sales manager pulled the switch. He added a laughable $2,624 in phantom fees! Including $997 destination fee on a used Camry! I could not contain my laughter. Who in the world 'buys' from these people? Those who leave this place with a car did not buy, they were conned. Oh, one more fee note, did I mention the $1,670 prep fee?! I immediately left thinking: Who buys from this place? Is there not a State Attorney General in New York? Moreover, do these individuals use such money to put food on the table for their kids? More

Horrible Experience: Sold me a lemon In short, my experience at City World Toyota was, by far, my WORST experience as a customer in the United States. My car (2004 Toyota Corolla) started In short, my experience at City World Toyota was, by far, my WORST experience as a customer in the United States. My car (2004 Toyota Corolla) started giving me PROBLEMS a couple of weeks after I bought it from them and they REFUSED to fix it completely, they PRESSURE you psychologically into buying, and they have a very SLOW service. If you're looking to buy a car from people who care about customers, CWT is a WRONG choice. For example, the used car sales manager implicitly said that it's my fault that I chose a BAD car from them. I've been saving up for so long for this car, my first car. And all of this was RUINED on buying from them. Plus they WAISTED 1000$ worth of my money in time, Ubers, and nerves. If you'd like to read the whole story, here it is: First mistake by CWT: Rafael Melendez (Sales person) and Leo Bonetti (Sales Manager) push me towards buying although I explicitly said for at least 5 times that I wanna keep looking around. I won't go into details, but it was very unprofessional, and the conclusion I came back with that day is that car dealers are vultures. I never had a similar experience anywhere in the US. Second mistake by CWT: Leo tells me to come back and pay by credit card. When I come the next day, Rafael tells me I can only pay in cash. I stayed there for 4 hours (no exaggeration) for them to find a way. Third mistake by CWT: Check engine light turns on 2 weeks after I buy the car. I take it to their service center. Before they put in the new parts (catalytic converter) the car engine starts making noises. When I come back to put in the new parts, I ask them to fix the noise, they refuse to fix it as it was after the 30 day warranty. I paid around 150$ in uber to and from the service center because they didn't say explicitly that they're not fixing it (super unprofessional). Fourth mistake by CWT: I call Rafael and tell him what's happening. I suggest leasing a car instead. He rushes into it since he'll make more money. And he blatantly says "We'll have to appraise your car" as if I didn't just buy it from them. At CWT, he starts throwing paperwork at me towards leasing a new car before he even tells me how much will I get back from returning the corolla. Fifth mistake by CWT: After I start raising the issue to management, everyone kept saying my hands are tied and throwing it on someone else (Rafael --> Leo, Leo --> Paul (used car sales manager), Paul --> Julissa (from service center)). The funniest thing is when Paul says "You bought a 2004 Toyota Corolla, and that's your mistake" which shows that they don't have faith in their own cars (FAIL). I reply "It is your duty to make sure you are selling quality cars". He replies "That's what you think". So much for treating customers. More
