Awful! I have been going to Voderman VW for the past 8 years and have had the best experience over there until now. My car has a check engine light ON and when i took the car for checking the negotiating and customer service experience i had was by far the worst i have experienced. Whoever is running the service department and the sales is literally unprofessional, accommodating, and unpleasant. I argued with my family to buy a car for Voderman last year and i will never do business with them. I have never posted a review on any service company but i had to do this this time. Very disappointed!!!! More

Great Dealership, with amazing staff! I have leased a handful of new Volkswagons from the Vorderman dealership and honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else. My most recent lease I worked with I have leased a handful of new Volkswagons from the Vorderman dealership and honestly I wouldn't go anywhere else. My most recent lease I worked with Caril Bernard. She is absolutely wonderful, she searched all over to find exactly the car I wanted and got it here in less than a week. The staff at Vorderman's is amazing I have never felt pressured or rushed, they really take the time to know you and your needs and find you the best vehicle. I am always amazed at there attention to detail, there is never a dirty car on the lot, and I have never seen a maintenance shop so clean and pristine. You can tell that Everyone form the shop to the management takes pride in what they do, and that customer service comes first. More

Wow! What unbelievable and considerate service! Recently, after much online study, my wife and I decided to purchase a new VW Jetta with the also NEW 1.4 liter turbocharged engine. The closest VW Recently, after much online study, my wife and I decided to purchase a new VW Jetta with the also NEW 1.4 liter turbocharged engine. The closest VW dealership was Vorderman's VW in Ft. Wayne, Indiana. This, being my first VW since a 1972 VW Beetle, was my first time having any dealings with Vorderman's. We were excited to take a trip to Milwaukee to show the car to my daughter and her German born husband. Prior to leaving, I wanted to really clean the car for its first impression. In my exuberance to clean the interior of the windshield I was leaning across the steering wheel to clean the passenger side. I began to get a cramp in my leg and abruptly jerked my body and head backward only to knock the rear view mirror off so hard that I cracked the windshield. I was DEVASTATED! We drove to Vorderman's to see if we could at least get the mirror re-installed, as I wanted nothing to do with driving around Chicago without one. I was greeted by service writer Abbey. I explained what happened and she was SO understanding! She promptly had a tech re-install the rear view mirror. THEN, to my utter surprise, after she had consulted with someone about my misfortune, she said "Mr. Peterson, we are going to order and install a new windshield for you at no cost." I was floored!!! I did not see that coming. I had been previously impressed by my salesman, Jay Melcher and the rest of the staff, but this goodwill was above and beyond any expectation. To say that I have been impressed by everyone at Vorderman's is beyond an understatement! Thank you Abbey! You now have one happy and devoted customer! More

Wonderful communication and service! I was in contact with Vorderman for over 1 year in anticipation of getting delivery of a Volkwagen Golf R. They were amazing in keeping in touch. With the Golf R, many "other" VW dealerships were known to take deposits on cars they had no idea when or if they could obtain or to charge exorbitant fees. Jay, Denise, Lori all kept me up to speed. Jay placed me on a wait list and would not take any money down until a car was allocated. Buying process was very smooth; no shady add on's, options such as extended warranties explained but not pushed. I bypassed two closer dealerships to work with Vorderman and will gladly travel the extra distance for any future VW purchases! More

Jay Melcher was our salesman and he had a very professional attitude and a personality that made you feel very much relaxed and comfortable. We had to trade two vehicles in for one with good gas mileage and a good warranty. I have a terminal illness and I wanted my Wife not to have to deal with car problems. After owning 4 Volkswagens in the past, I knew it would be the best choice when it comes to quality and reliability. The entire staff went above and beyond to help us get to where we wanted to be. Awesome and fun car buying experience. We test drove two different cars one evening with Dennis. It was a great time no pressure. Dennis is actually a pretty funny guy. He told us to call or text any time with questions and said he was off the next day but would be more than happy to help. The next day I texted him an offer and to make a long story short I purchased a car through text messaging. Lol. A few days latter we met wih him again and picked up the car. Once again it was very laid back and fun. Naomi and Dennis worked hard to get us in and out. Naomi answered all of our questions and was good to work with too. She tried to get Dennis to put on a Chicken costume! Dennis made sure to answer any additional questions and demo some of the neat stuff like VW Carnet. It was a great experience I only wish I could afford to buy another car from Dennis. I have been getting my cars serviced at Vorderman's for several years. I usually deal with Larry Carter and have learned to trust him with our vehicles needs. I give him and the service department five stars. They've always taken care of our needs and have gone out of their way on numerous occasions. The service department is one of the main reasons we purchased our eighth VW.
