4 Dirty tricks In 40 years of purchasing cars for my family this was the worst experience ever. In purchasing the car they had four new dirty tricks I hadn’t encountered before. The price was written down on salesman’s card with discount amount. When we sat down at the table the price was jacked up because of some add-ons on the car that the dealer apparently does to all cars and there’s no sticker on the windows to show this. There was a flashing brake light module $400, paint protectant for almost $1000, maintenance at the dealer which was not near my home for $328. I had to fight just to get the price down to the quoted price and it was very unpleasant. When I got to the finance room I was told that $1000 of the discount was only if I take a particular financing at 8% when I could get 3 to 5% . The 2018 Buick Encore with 4000 miles is great but the sales process was a nightmare and I will not purchase another car from Carl Black. I do not blame the salesperson or finance manager for following the compulsory program so not mentioning their names. However, I do all my service at Carl Black in Roswell and I am absolutely pleased and will continue doing so. More
