Fantastic experience at Garden State Honda! I recently leased a 2016 Honda Civic LX from Garden State Honda. Business Manager Mario Calle and Sales Rep Marco Cabrera really provided a great experience throughout the process of leasing a new vehicle. Both were very patient and helpful throughout the process. They both helped me tremendously by providing all the necessary information I needed to know in order for everything to go smoothly. They were extremely helpful in getting me approved for my new vehicle. I am very happy and comfortable with my monthly payment. I am positive I received a great deal from Garden State Honda. I would absolutely recommend Garden State Honda to friends and family. More

Fit 'n Fine To all my short friends....if you are in the market for a car, do check out the Honda Fit. I love that I sit high, and yet the car is small. Wonderful visibility, handles well, and it does come in lots of colors. I chose yellow cause it made me smile, and I like being able to spot my car in a crowded lot :). If you are from North Jersey, Garden State Honda is the place to do it, and Marco Cabrera was great to work with. I leased mine, they have the best deal around I was new to leasing, and Marco took me through it step by step, explaining the fine print. Nice thing about Garden State Honda is a minimum of fine print, and they mean it when they say "$995 and Drive!" More

He was cordial, extremely informative, very professional, and I didn't feel pressured into purchasing a car. My overall experience was awesome. I am very thankful I walked in when I did. I came out with a beautiful new car that I love. My trade in was acceptable, and the choices I had were numerous, but Marco delivered spot on with what I was looking for. I couldn't have asked for a better employee who with his patience, knowledge, and salesman expertise! More

Very easy My salesman Marco was outstanding. When I came in to see him he was just about ready to sit down and eat dinner but he didn't eat but rather came and My salesman Marco was outstanding. When I came in to see him he was just about ready to sit down and eat dinner but he didn't eat but rather came and helped me find a new car and I was so impressed with that. He was a great salesman able to give me information on each car I was looking at and trying to find me the best vehicle that met my needs. He spoke clearly and was very friendly and helpful and I would return there and buy another car with him. He was thorough on the day picking up the car and made sure that I understood all about the car and made sure that the car was prepped correctly. My sales Manager Frank also was outstanding. He seemed honest and very helpful and personable and made the experience of buying a new car enjoyable rather than a headache. I would surely recommend others to this location and I already did so. I was very happy with my experience and Marco & Frank did a great job. More

The delaership itself has a parking lot and showroom of at least one color for each model which makes choosing a color easier. If not, they will be sure to get it as soon as possible. Smooth transaction; helpful, professional staff I am a first time new car buyer; a colleague of mine recommended to go to Garden State Honda in Clifton, on Rt 3W. I was happy to have a recommendati I am a first time new car buyer; a colleague of mine recommended to go to Garden State Honda in Clifton, on Rt 3W. I was happy to have a recommendation, because as a first time new car buyer, well, you know NJ car dealers, they just don't have a good reputation overall... The first contract was with Rosie, very pleasant and helpful, I set up an appointment for Saturday morning. On that morning we were greeted by our energetic salesman David Garcia. I asked David all I wanted to know about the Honda Accord, and I got quick and clear answers about both models we looked at. David was friendly, respectful and knowledgeable. I appreciated his follow up calls to some questions I had during the process. On a couple of things David wanted to consult with his manager, Johan. I met Johan that morning also (and later at their other location in Passaic). Fine gentleman, Johan. I wanted to take a test drive and that was quickly arranged on the spot. I told David I was going to go Subaru next, as the Accord and the Legacy were my two choices. There was no pouting or pressuring salesman here, we were helped very professionally and went on our way to the Subaru dealer. We could have gone to another Honda dealership but we were very content with this dealership and sales staff. The end of the story: we found our way back and bought an Accord Sport from David. The dealership was busy when we came back (it was a Saturday afternoon!). Another salesman, Marco, helped finish the paperwork with us so we would not have to wait and so that David did not have to rush the customers he was with. The financial side of the transaction was handled by Fred in an efficient and gentlemanly manner. We were offered some options and warranties which we declined, totally without pressure. Because I had opted for several non-standard accessories, I had to take the car to their service center on 225 River Dr in Passaic. I had made an appointment with Al. I went there the next Saturday. This is a busy place, but I did not have to wait long before the car was taken by the valet. I was not in a rush as I had a ride home, but I did get a fresh bagel and a cup of coffee before my ride showed up. Several people were waiting in the service waiting area and using the dealer's computers, while others had brought their own (free wifi) . The service area has comfortable chairs as well as small tables where you could read a paper or work on your laptop. While at home I had another question so I called Al, got him on the phone and was helped again in a friendly and professional manner. A bit later I got a call the car was ready. I picked up the car and paperwork, and I was out the door. Without pressure and hassles, each phase of my transaction was a good and pleasant experience! More
