I hate writing bad reviews, but since I just dropped I hate writing bad reviews, but since I just dropped more than 20K on a car with a dodgy transmission I feel compelled to offer up a warning to pote I hate writing bad reviews, but since I just dropped more than 20K on a car with a dodgy transmission I feel compelled to offer up a warning to potential customers. I bought a 2017 Jeep Renegade with 39k mileage a month ago. Internet pricing was 14k. Actual price ended up being over 20 (not including financing fees) because of warrantees, etc that they tack on. Car was in the shop within 3 weeks after almost having an accident when the automatic gears got stuck in traffic. It also began kicking and shifting rough. It was sold to me with a recalled engine and transmission problems that are downright dangerous, BUT Honda says they are not responsible for any of that, despite not having even made my first payment. Under the Lemon Law, I have to go through the Jeep manufacturer now. Turns out the market value of this car is @ 11,000$. Best case scenario, if I am ever refunded by the manufacturer, I still lose 14 grand (including finance fees) on this mess. Great for Honda, devastating for me. I have owned this car for 5 weeks at this point. According to the Honda rep I spoke to (I have never heard from any of the people involved in selling me the car), Honda has zero culpability for whether the car works, despite having sold it to me. They would only be responsible for a bad tire or a scratch on the body of the car, or something like that (!!!). As a final indication of the shady nature of this place, I traded in my previous vehicle (Mazda Tribute) for a few hundred dollars. It was very old and with almost 200k mileage, had chronic transmission problems, was on its last legs, and they said it would be junked when I explained that to them. Imagine my surprise to see it for sale 2 days later on their website for 4,000 dollars. Can't imagine they put a new transmission in there and I really commiserate with the person who bought it. I hate the idea of a big dealership like this taking such advantage of people who genuinely need transportation in these hard times. Do NOT buy a car from here. More

He was very patient and helpful. He has assured me that any questions , concerns, issues whether today or in the future he will be available to assist me. I can’t say enough good things about him. When it comes time to trade in in the future I will seek HIM out plus refer friends to HIM! This is my second purchase from Honda of Ocala and I must also comment that Scott B and Doug M in service have been great during my visits there. More

The reason for the rating of four is a breakdown of communication at dealership. After my purchase I left the car for detail work to be done as I was promised and came to pick up car on Monday and none of the work had been done. I was not pleased. The salesperson and service department need to communicate better with each other. There lack caused an inconveniences for me. Now the car has to return back to dealership for the detail work to be completed. I was told they would come to the house and pick it up Wednesday. So at this point I will have to wait and see. More

Great sales and service. Honda of Ocala has a clean and modern showroom. Mike Lehman was our salesman and he was exceptional. He went with us, taking our possible new Odyssey Honda of Ocala has a clean and modern showroom. Mike Lehman was our salesman and he was exceptional. He went with us, taking our possible new Odyssey Van to our home, so we could be sure our old Irish Wolfhound could easily get in and out of the Van. He also helped us to get a hitch, roof rack and tinted windows added all for a reasonable cost. Mark in the Service Department has also been great and we even get a free lunch if we have to wait very long. More

Casey was an amazing salesman, he understood from the very beginning that I had pretty bad anxiety over the entire new car purchase situation and he truly made every step of the process as easy and stres very beginning that I had pretty bad anxiety over the entire new car purchase situation and he truly made every step of the process as easy and stress free as possible. He moved quickly through the necessary paperwork and had us through the finance portion of the process under 2 hours. He made my appointment for the additional items I added on to the vehicle and secured me a loaner vehicle while those items were being installed. He followed up afterward as well to make sure everything came out as expected. I am a lifetime Honda purchaser and he was by far the best sales person I’ve ever encountered. More
