They operate with the integrity of a predatory "buy-here-pay-here" lot. I had been in constant communication with this team since April 21st. After 5 days of professional correspondence (phone, text, email), I confirmed the vehicle’s availability again on Friday night with Aldo before they closed. Despite my explicit offer to place a deposit to secure the car on Thursday while it was undergoing the CPO reconditioning process - they refused with a "policy" clearly designed to screw over committed buyers – provided assurance Friday night that the vehicle would be waiting for my 10:00 AM appointment. I committed to a four-hour round trip in heavy rain and brutal traffic. I spent two hours on the road, providing constant, proactive text updates on my ETA due to rainy weather and major traffic delays. They watched my updates and let me keep driving. They sat in silence while I wasted gas, and hours of my life, only calling me 20 minutes before arrival to tell me their sales manager sold the car. This isn't "just business"—it is absolute sales xxxx behavior. To lure a customer into a four-hour trip, refuse their deposit, and then sell the vehicle out from under them while they are literally on the highway is malicious, deceitful, and pathetic. The Verdict: Porsche Greenwich – New Country Motor Group has zero respect for their clients or their own word. They are bottom-tier sleaze masquerading as a luxury dealer. I have filed a formal complaint with Porsche North America and will warn every enthusiast and buyer I know to stay far away from this embarrassment of a dealership. He answered all of our questions (many before we even asked). We never had to haggle, and we never felt as though we were being taken advantage of. He treated us as though we were his only clients. Never rushed! I asked Matt if he would throw in a free Keychain and he promised he would. When we arrived, he presented two of them. I wanted to pufchase a beautiful cap and had my card out to do so. The Financial Manager (Percy) gave it to me for free!! Although our vehicle was pre-owned, we received the inspection reports, Carfax, as well as the service information. Everything was great!! When we picked up the car, Matt informed us that he and Percy decided to share their profit with us. We were given four new tires, new front breaks, and windshield wipers. FOR FREE!! We feel like we are part of the Porsche Greenwich family, and will NEVER shop at any other dealership for our future cars. You WILL NOT be disappointed if you choose Porsche of Greenwich. Each of the three persons who helped me was very knowledgeable and obliging, and never did I feel subjected to high-pressure sale tactics. I felt that everyone was very straightforward with me, and I believe that I received a fair deal. Rich Del Mazzio did an excellent job identifying two vehicles that would fit my interests for a reasonable price. Though my trade-in value was not as high as hoped, in my view, Rich advocated for the best trade-in value he could get from his Volvo buyer because it was almost $8,000 higher than I was offered by CarMax and $3,000 higher than BMW. Matthew Gish processed my purchase order and delivery. He was extremely personable and amicable, and he was willing to walk me through as much or as little about my car. I appreciated his kindness in staying late on a rainy Friday night for my delivery. Noah Davis made helpful recommendations on plans and options. He was able to get a very competitive financing package despite my mediocre credit rating. He was very efficient in processing my paperwork both in applying and signing. I came to Porsche after a long but ultimately disappointing relationship with Volvo. My experience at New Country has assured me of the soundness of my choice, and I look forward to becoming a loyal Porsche owner for years to come. The only deficiency in the experience compared with Volvo was that Volvo made the delivery experience more special with complimentary gifts such as mugs, roses, and chocolates. I did receive a very nice umbrella and key chain, but I thought a top-end luxury brand like Porsche would pamper the customer a little more. This criticism, however, is quite minor, and overall, I was very pleased with the purchasing experience! More
