Hello There My Name is Matt. I have been working at Heritage for over 2 years now and truly love what I do. I have lived in New England all my life. I moved to Vermont in 2001 to open a restaurant for the Company I worked with. Vermont became the place where I started my family. I have 2 children. My Daughter Lily who is 8 and my Son Colin who is 6. I enjoy watching all sports. I play golf and hang out with the Family on my free time. I really enjoy meeting and getting to know new people everyday. I like to make the experience of buying a vehicle as fun and relaxed as possible. It really means a lot to me when customers, their friends, and their families come back and see me when they have vehicle needs.

Hands down the most AMAZING experience I have ever had car shopping! I called them on a recommendation from my boss, next thing I know I am driving to Burlington to look at some potential new cars! Everyt car shopping! I called them on a recommendation from my boss, next thing I know I am driving to Burlington to look at some potential new cars! Everything from the initial call in, to getting to know my sales rep, Matt, and him getting to know me (which was honestly a breath of fresh air based on my past car dealership experiences) was such an amazing time! Matt is hands down the most amazing person to work with!!! Not only did he take full account of what was going to be a feasible option for me but was extremely personable and made sure I was going to be happy and was making smart decisions! I’ll never get another car anywhere else besides Heritage Toyota! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED! And if you get the pleasure of working with Matt you won’t be disappointed - aside from him being very knowledgeable, and genuinely interested in you and your needs, not just blindly selling you a car for his own gains, he is a pleasure to work with (and real talk, a pretty funny guy)!!! Matt was excellent to work with when purchasing our 2021 RAV4 Hybrid. He listened to our requirements and found us the exact vehicle we wanted. I bought a 2018 Toyota Sienna. Matt Messenger was a true gentleman. I am a Transgender Person and I occasionally experience discrimination. Matt never flinched, he was kind and respectful. Great experience in purchasing my new Tundra. Matt was the first sales rep to sell me a vehicle in over ten years. In the past I always went to Heritage and the sales rep and managers seemed to no Matt was the first sales rep to sell me a vehicle in over ten years. In the past I always went to Heritage and the sales rep and managers seemed to not be interested in selling me a vehicle and I always purchased from the competitor. he connected with me and did not waste my time and showed me a vehicle that I would like. he closed the sale with me me and was very professional. we have another vehicle that needs to be replaced this month and we will reach out when we are ready. thank you Matt. Knowledgeable Staff Once I had decided on a Tacoma, I began looking into different dealerships based on their customer service reviews. Heritage Toyota was highly rated, Once I had decided on a Tacoma, I began looking into different dealerships based on their customer service reviews. Heritage Toyota was highly rated, so I scheduled a test drive. I worked directly with Matt Messenger. He made the entire process efficient and enjoyable. I went for a test drive and subsequently viewed four other trucks on the lot. Matt was able to answer all of my questions regarding the differences in models and the finer points of the warranty. I would recommend the dealership and Matt for their outstanding customer service. More
