Lack of Transparency Salesperson good, but not in sync with the finance officer. Finance officer - nonchalant about our concerns; hidden costs; totally unprofessional; HA Salesperson good, but not in sync with the finance officer. Finance officer - nonchalant about our concerns; hidden costs; totally unprofessional; HATED experience. Management - Excellent! Ms. Perez can be a great sales person - she is courteous and truly want to take care of the customer. However, there was a disconnect between what she was telling us and what the finance officer was telling us. As mature adults, we just wanted the bottom line. Regarding a $5,000 package that was added in the price - we were told what we were going to get, but not that it costs $5K - if we pay $5K for it, we're supposed to get it. It was told to us like it was an incentive for buying the car with 10,868 miles (11K) on it, which is roughly one year worth of usage. We were told 10K miles, only to sit down and find out that it was roughly 11K. There was much back and forth with Mr. Fedrick, because he was saying the cost walking out the door was $25K, but when getting ready to finalize the deal, it was $31K; that's quite a difference. He kept saying the items in the package weren't free, but wasn't telling us the cost. When we finally got to the bottom of it, we decided we didn't want the package. Had he been transparent from the beginning, we could have finalized the transaction long ago. I hated his nonchalant attitude. The one and only reason we purchased the vehicle at this dealership is because we want our services local. Our son went to Union City (last September) and purchased a Stinger (beautiful), because he was totally disrespected at this dealership. My understanding is that they did not allow him to drive the car. He looks like a teenager, but he was 28 years old and a vet. He had plenty of money in the bank and had a 6 year-old Challenger with low mileage to trade. He is a no-nonsense kind of person and when he came home and relayed the story to us, I was so angry that I wanted to go to the dealership and speak on his behalf, but I couldn't, because he is an adult and he chose to go elsewhere to buy his car - with no problems. My bottom line is to be upfront with all the costs, as a buyer will be more apt to purchase, if they know exactly what's going on. A car is one of the largest purchases most people will ever make. The consumer has a right to be know about all the costs involved, in order make an informed decision. Thanks to Ms. Perez for trying so hard to give us satisfactory service and to Ms. Lee for the brief, but pleasant encounter when discussing the 15K service. We would have gladly consented to a video recording, but I'm sure our experience would exclude us. We love the car, though. More

BOLD FACED LIARS WITH ARROGANT ATTITUDE!!! Kia of Columbus is a joke!! IT IS INSULTING THAT KIA AUTOSPORT FEELS THAT CUSTOMERS ARE NOT COMPETENT ENOUGH TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANT Kia of Columbus is a joke!! IT IS INSULTING THAT KIA AUTOSPORT FEELS THAT CUSTOMERS ARE NOT COMPETENT ENOUGH TO KNOW WHEN THEY ARE BEING TAKEN ADVANTAGE OF WITH A SHADY DEAL! MY MOM DID NOT RAAISE A FOOL!! I know when I am being lied to (Apparently just part of the job)!. The salespeople are full of deceit. I don't know about you, but I don't like being DISRESPECTED!! The long process of haggling and listening to every sales pitch from the East to the West coast is frustrating. Kia Autosport of Columbus needs to be put out of business!! They tell you how good the warranty is as a tactic to get you to buy. The warranty is good because their cars are a piece of "CRAP!" And when you need to use the warranty, Kia finds any "LOOPHOLE" to deny fixing your vehicle even though the vehicle is still under warranty (READ CONSUMERAFFAIRS.COM WEBSITE FOR KIA COMPLAINTS)!! I complained about their sales tactics and can't even get their GM to call me back. This dealership wants you to sit and listen to their lies but will not entertain your concerns when you feel you are not being treated fairly!! I can't understand why you can talk to 2 different salesman and get 2 different attitudes, 2 different sales pitches, 2 different prices and TWICE the lies. I just didn't have time for it. I have had nothing but bad experiences with Kia of Columbus. I have been told that their service department is HORRIBLE!! I am tired of all the haggling. I had cash money and still couldn't get a decent price on a new or used Kia. We have decided to keep driving our current vehicle. KIA AUTOSPORT IS NOTHING BUT A BUNCH OF CROOKS! THEY CAN KEEP THEIR SORRY CARS!! Save your time and money! Nobody at this dealership has any integrity! More
