PART ONE! I inquired about a 2014 Tahoe. The ad said to ask for Cody Kietzman, which I did. His slight interest in my inquiry, should have been my first clu I inquired about a 2014 Tahoe. I should have went with my gut and taken the vehicle to my mechanic but my mechanic is in Fremont, and Cody comes across as a very, trustworthy, honest, caring man. He assured me that nothing is put up for sale that has any major problems or is unsafe in any way. If so it would be sent straight to auction as they don’t want any unhappy customers or bad reviews with social media being what it is. I wished I would have checked their own website for negative reviews because it’s full of them! I was naïve, trusted this fast talking, ex-Marine and put down a deposit. The vehicle definitely needed cleaned, inside and out which I thought they would’ve done before putting it on the lot? The tires needed aired up as the light was on and as I was test driving it, wires fell down from underneath the steering wheel. I was assured the vehicle would be cleaned, the tires would be checked and the wires would be checked and secured. I returned the next day, Saturday January 27, 2024 with a cashiers check to purchase the vehicle. The vehicle was washed which I then noticed quite a few scratches but I let it go hoping I could get touchup paint and buff them out. A lot of the questions I asked my salesman he did not know the answer to. I thought well he sells Toyotas, not Chevys. For example, does this vehicle have a warning when cars are in your Blindspot? He said he didn’t know nor did he find out for me, and the vehicle did not come with a book. We walked around the vehicle, and I asked him to show me how to put the third row of seats up when he did it was very dirty underneath and he made the comment that the detail department must’ve missed that, haha but he then made the comment didn’t they do a great job otherwise. I looked around the vehicle and said, no, it looks exactly the same he didn’t respond. I asked if the wires were checked and secured. He said absolutely. Then he noticed the tires had not been aired up. I was so excited that none of these problems were connecting that the vehicle had been nothing, but washed on the outside. Cody was told the dealerships air compressor was broken and that he was told to take the vehicle to Caseys but then he remembered he had a portable one in his car so he used that. I left the dealership and went to my daughters in Bellevue. On the way there at 4:30, still daylight, I realized I barely had an eighth of a tank of gas and text my salesman…. “Damnit Cody!!!!!! I only have 1/8 tank! I have to get gas already! You don't even get a tank of gas when you buy a $19,000 car?” His response was “I didn't even look Gena, I'm sorry. If light isnt on we typically don't gas it up. We fill up new cars because Toyota pays for it. You didn't run out did you?” I left my daughters around 8:00pm knowing I had to get gas. Now that it was dark, I Immediately realized the windshield was so dirty with what I call a “smokers film” That I had to stop and clean it. It looked like I was driving in fog. I also realized that the “after market headlights” were all jacked up. Weather I had on high or low beams, I was getting flashed but I could only see more than a few feet in front of me when I had on high beams. I went to turn into the gas station across the opposite lane of traffic. The wires from underneath the steering wheel fell back down, and I got my foot tangled in them as I stepped on the break which caused me to completely stop in the lane of oncoming traffic. Thank God nothing was coming. I realized what happened and not worrying about what was across my foot got into the gas station. I was very shook up. a gentleman that had seen his in traffic came over to see if I was OK. he said it looked like the wires were still intact. He put them up in the dash as best he could. More

I'm not typically one to call out businesses, but wanted to share our recent experience with Corwin Toyota of Bellevue in hopes of preventing others from having to go through what we are dealing with. We purchased a used SUV for our 16 year old last week. We asked to see the full multipoint inspection report before purchasing and everything was checked as being in great condition. We purchased it and were told we had 30 days to decide on which warranty plan we wanted to go with so planned to take a few days to weigh the options before deciding. Within 2 days of getting it home we had to bring it I back to the dealership because the engine light came on. The service department noted several things that needed to be done to repair it, totaling $4000 in repair costs (we had driven it less than 50 miles). Upon arguing with them that the inspection report showed everything was in good working order, we were told that they are not responsible for their service department missing things during the inspection. After spending 6 hours at the dealership trying to rectify the situation with their sales manager, we have had to escalate it to the general manager and are now being ignored after trying to contact them several times and leaving multiple messages. Do not buy from this dealership!! Pass it on! More

What an incredible car buying experience! Cody, my salesman, is the best in the business! He was very upfront and gave me the pros and cons of every vehicle I was considering. He provides a high intelligence of everything I needed to know about my new Rav4 and also gave me a memorable Taylor Swift jam sesh on the test drive (VERY important). 10/10 will be going back to Cody for my car buying needs. ALSO huge shoutout to Michael and Reza for finding my dream car to be allocated to the dealership. The communication was exceptional. They have checked off every box of what I was looking for in my new car! And not only did they deal with an annoying/needy customer every week, they also provided me with snacks along the way! You just don't get that kind of customer service anywhere else!! More

HORRIBLE experience! Do not visit this “dealership” unless you are looking for employees with absolutely no knowledge of vehicles or customer service. Funny how Ryan was LURKING for customers by the reception desk, but then as soon as I asked him to help me find a car (Aka do his job), he was SEXIST, RUDE, and wasn’t interested in making a sale. As soon as the receptionist asked Ryan to “assist” me, because he was standing right there, he did NOT introduce himself or ask me anything about what I was looking for. After having to take it upon myself, I told him that I was interested in looking at the 2023 Corolla Crossover. Before saying anything else, he immediately told me that the 2023 Corolla Crossover has a bad drive train, and would only be able to support 1-2 people maximum and would absolutely be horrible for me and all my d*mn car seats (Ryan’s words NOT mine). FIRST of all, isn’t a sales persons job, to SELL products? So why did he say that his own company’s product was bad? SECONDLY a Corolla Crossover is a crossover? With 5 (FIVE) seats, so how would it only support ONE person? And when did I say that I had children let alone “d*mn car seats”? Absolutely DISGUSTING and Misogynistic assumption made on Ryan’s part. I’ve never dealt with someone so unprofessional, bigoted, and sexist! Especially not as a PAYING CUSTOMER! After telling Ryan that regardless of his opinion, I wanted to see the Corolla Crossover, he flat out denied my request and told me to look online and purchase a car on Toyotas website? To which I told him, that I had already checked out Toyotas website but I wanted to visually see cars in person. He insinuated on many occasions that I could not afford a Toyota! I asked him why he couldn’t show me a car, and he replied that their inventory was low (despite him showing me the screen where 1 WAS IN STOCK), I also asked about other vehicles, to which he refused to show me and also said that I wouldn’t like them and that if I wanted to be taken seriously, I needed to make a “good relationship with a salesperson” and then they’ll THINK about offering me an opportunity to buy a car from them. What a SICK thing to say. Ryan’s demeanor was incredibly disrespectful, aggressive, hostile, and honestly scary. I do not appreciate being talked down to and scolded. I asked him why I would need to have a “relationship” with a salesperson to buy a car if there was unsold new cars on the lot TODAY? I also asked how long it would take for Corwin to get more cars in, and how long it takes Corwin to get a car in if you purchase it sight unseen? He had no clue and didn’t bother to ask anyone around him. he repeatedly suggested that this is just how car buying works (hint: it’s not) and it was frustrating for customers and that I should just buy a used car. At no point did Ryan Krause ask me my financial status, nor did I EVER say I was interested in a used car. If I wanted a used car, I would have said that Ryan. I again asked to see the NEW cars on the lot, to which he said I couldn’t because they were sold already. Which doesn’t make much sense given his first answer? I was confused why I couldn’t see the already sold cars that were still on the lot because I was only wanting to visually see the outside of the car (NOT TOUCH, NOT sit in, NOT test drive)! He told me no and acted like I was crazy for wanting to see a physical car before deciding to spending thousands of dollars on a car Ihad never seen before! I left the dealership feeling shocked, depressed, and disappointed in the lack of service and human decency displayed by Corwins staff. Ryan didn’t offer me his business card when I left. I can’t help but think he intentionally didn’t introduce himself or give me his card, so he could discriminate against me and get away with it. Luckily I was able to see his name on his desk, so I could report his behavior. After leaving I called Corwin and was put in contact with a sales team manager. The manager was unhelpful and did not seem to care at all. The only thing the manager said was “how can we gain your business back”? So now they want my money? Despite me not having relations with a salesperson???!! I read Ryan Krause’s reviews on here (Corwin’s very own website) and he has a track record of discriminatory, aggressive, and misogynistic behavior. I brought the reviews to the manager’s attention and they honestly sounded surprised to learn that their own website had reviews on it! I’m leaving this review so others don’t have to face the same pain, disappointment, and discrimination that I had to. Ps. I went to several other car dealerships and had a lovely experience with their salespeople AND they even had multiple cars in stock AND they let me SEE the cars in person! And I didn’t get discriminated against! WOOT WOOT! But in all seriousness, why is Corwin continuously tolerating this inappropriate behavior from their staff, and doing nothing to stop it or protect their customers? More
