Golf Alltrack MY experience with North Penn was a decent one. We did have one hitch. After speaking with my rep, Mike Sinclair(who was outstanding throughout the MY experience with North Penn was a decent one. We did have one hitch. After speaking with my rep, Mike Sinclair(who was outstanding throughout the whole process) the night prior, and telling him I would be in the following day to put down a deposit on a 2018 Golf Alltrack, I was greeted by total confusion. We sat down to get the deposit stuff taken care of. He went to get paper work....and we he came back he told me that unbeknownst to him, another sales rep(who sated he didn't know Mike had struck a verbal deal...AND as Mike told me, he personally put a note on vehicle sales slip that I would be in 1st thing in am to drop dep) told him one of his customers put a deposit on the car early that morning before I got there. Mike had to scramble at this point, and was giving me time to make a decision on taking a black version of the Alltrack that was in stock. Mike brought me into sales mgr after seeing my frustration. Due to an accident and insurance time frames, I had to make a quick decision. I painfully decided to go with the black, and all the sales mgr would do for the inconvenience was offer me $100 off of sales price. It was at this exact moment that the other sales guy, who snaked his colleague, came into alert us that his customer changed their mind and now the car was available. So, in the end, I got the car I wanted, and I am enjoying it so far. My Salesman Mike, did a great job of showing me car, and explaining its features. He was knowledgable, and not pushy at all. Answered all my texts in a very timely fashion, and was a great help answering questions for me on the leasing end. I would def. purchase another vehicle from him. I actually felt quite bad for him as this whole scenario was being played out. It almost seemed like a prank. However, I wasn't happy at all with the fact that there was miscommunication and quite frankly, some underhanded business tactics taken by this other sales rep(if I knew his name, I would surely provide it). I also feel, that for the inconvenience that it caused, the sales mgr should have offered a better financial deal. They knew my situation was time sensitive and sort of hung my out to dry. More

I worked with Michael Sinclair in their Sales Department and highly recommend working with him if you are going to purchase or lease a VW at North Penn. I was operating under a tight timeframe to make my lease decision before I had to leave for the week for a work trip. I called North Penn ahead of time, spoke with Michael and conveyed my car needs. He promptly followed up with an email that listed the dealer specials. I arrived to the dealership the same evening and Michael had the cars waiting for me to view. Once the decision was made, the leasing process end-to-end was seamless and easy. For the first time buying a car, I didn't have to sit for hours waiting. Jason, the Finance Manager was terrific and also moved through the financing paperwork rapidly and efficiently. I no longer dread buying a car after this experience!
