I basically paid over $200 for nothing. They didn’t change my oil, fix my brakes, changed any fluids. I was onsite for over 3 hours and then they tried to give me a bill for possible fixes They didn’t change my oil, fix my brakes, changed any fluids. I was onsite for over 3 hours and then they tried to give me a bill for possible fixes for over $1000 for a new vehicle I just bought a few months ago. That to me is a scam. I like my GMC Terrain but I will NEVER go back to the dealer for service, I’d rather go to the corner mechanic who gives way better quality services for a far more reasonable cheaper price. Now I see why all GMC service centers are always EMPTY!!! It’s a RIP OFF!!!! More

Service manager had to take over my service because the service advisor was incompetent. Made a scheduled appointment online for Monday. Dropped vehicle off Sunday afternoon in night drop. I was contacted service advisor was incompetent. Made a scheduled appointment online for Monday. Dropped vehicle off Sunday afternoon in night drop. I was contacted on Monday morning first thing (great). I was told that my 2023 GMC with 20,000 miles might not be covered under warranty and explained the $200 diagnostic charge if the problem is deemed not warranted. It was brought in for a check engine light. So the relevance of focusing on how I might have to pay for service over actually paying attention to my problem was very disappointing. I did not hear back from the dealer until I called on Wednesday to check status. Again, the service advisor was not prepared to give me a proper update on my vehicle. And if I could express what was actually conveyed on our phone conversation you would be stunned. Finally on Thursday I was told my water pump needed replacing. I dropped the vehicle off on Monday! 4 days to diagnose! If I knew it was going to take this long I could have made better arrangements for transportation or reserving a loaner (which I was told by my service advisor was a two week wait). On Friday I had to once again call the dealer to see if my truck would be available by the weekend. Keep in mind, I was called ONCE that Monday morning initially. The dealer NEVER ONCE called me to give me any updates or status. Finally after repeat calls and emails the service manager called me back and I was able to pick my truck up Friday night. WOW! I considered not writing a review at all because the service manager did a great job covering the endless mistakes of the service writer until I got home and realized after all this they install dealer advertising license plate frames! I didn’t buy from this dealer, I most likely won’t use them again and I do not like the look of advertising frames on any of my vehicles. To put them on without permission is not appropriate. More
