I found a truck I liked online at Lenz and initiated contact with Mike Buhler at the end of November. I chose Mike based on his positive reviews. I had several things going on at the time, but Mike called a couple of weeks later asking if I was still interested and asked if there was anything he could do. I live in TX, and I had questions about the underbody and other areas of the truck that I couldn't see in the the stock photos. Mike e-mailed photos of the areas I was interested in (which included getting under the truck) and was very responsive to my questions. Upon arrival, the truck looked better than I expected (it looks brand new inside and out, but is a 2011 model), and was ready for a drive as soon as we arrived. The truck drives as good as it looks and my wife and I put 1,500 plus miles on it driving it home. I'll add that we had a minor miscommunication during the communication process, but Mike made it right as soon as I mentioned it. Overall, Lenz seems to have a wide selection of high quality vehicles at very good prices (they don't negotiate much, if any, BTW, but their prices are better than fair), and the purchase process was also quick and easy, also without the usual add-ons/warranties/service plan pitches that some other dealers make you endure. Mike was quick to answer any questions and requests, but never pushy, and also worked with my out of state banker to overcome the hurdles that come with an out of state purchase. I would recommend both Mike Buhler and Lenz when considering a truck purchase. More

Mike explain several items of interest to me and made me feel at ease with any questions I had. He took the time and didn't rush me at all. Traded in a truck and drove home with the 2013 Tahoe that afternoon. Everyone was friendly and professional. Yes I would recommend this dealership to my friends. But it gets better...he pulls up the wrong truck 20 minutes after arrival and tells you it is the right one. No jake...Brown is not grey. Then he refuses to respond to my contact after I left. When I arrived, Mike was there to greet me with the truck of my dreams. There was no hassle and the truck was just as I expected and more. Mike was very pleasant to talk with and a good sense of humor. He also answered all of my wife's questions and we both drove our new vehicle home as happy campers. Actually my wife drove. If Brad wasn't avaiable he has made sure someone is available to help with any concerns or questions. Sales have always been quick and easy, service is reliable and efficient! They do it all and have it all if the vehicle you want doesn't have the option they can add it and they do excellent service work also. I've purchased more than 10 vehicles from Brad and I will continue to go back to Lenz's in the future. You definitely can not go wrong with the quality of vehicles they have the selection and prices!! More

That being said, Mike and Nick made the entire car buying process stress-free! Both were extremely friendly and went out of our way to make the process easy for us. We were offered a fair price for our trade-in, got a sweet truck at a great price, and the best part is that the entire process was completed within two hours. On top of that, Nick found offered us a loan that beat the already competitive interest rate on the loan we were pre-approved for in our home town by over another percentage point! I would highly recommend Lenz Truck Center. Trust me, the stress-free transaction and great customer service was well worth the nearly five hours we drove to make the purchase. This is the first place I will check when I am ready to buy our next vehicle. More

Over the past few months, it became apparent to my husband and I that he needed a new truck. We knew that he wanted a used Toyota Tacoma TRD Sport, but we weren't sure where to go. We live in Madison, and have only been in Wisconsin for two years, so I did my research online with cars.com and autotrader.com to look for dealers in the area. Our local Toyota dealers had some, but they seemed a little aggressive (we drove through the lot, and a salesman came out from inside and started chasing us down). We are not fans of high-pressure sales techniques, so we left. The other dealers in town just didn't have exactly what we were looking for. Through the above mentioned websites, we found a few trucks that we were interested in. We chose to go with one of the Toyota dealers in Milwaukee. They had, what appeared to be the perfect truck. We requested information, and my husband talked with our assigned dealer on the phone. He said he sounded like a 'fast-talker', but he was still interested in looking at that truck. So, we both took a day off from work (to avoid the weekend crowds) and went to Milwaukee to get this truck. I cannot fully express in words the disappointment we experienced. The dealer was nothing short of arrogant, condescending and rude. He lied about the condition of the vehicle and actually laughed at our potential trade-in. We left, disgusted and hopeless. We stopped by another car dealer on our way out of town, and they were no better. We were convinced we were never going to find the right truck or dealership. That night, after my husband went to bed, I went back to those websites again and found the perfect truck at LENZ Truck Center. It all looked great online, but I was hesitant (considering our experience in Milwaukee). I did some messaging with a customer service representative, and sent my email requesting more information about the truck. The next day, I got an email from Mike Buhler. He called me and I was able to briefly explain our experience in Milwaukee and express our fears and hesitation. I asked him if he could please be honest with me about the condition of the truck, so we didn't drive all that way just to be disappointed again. He said he would go out right then and double check the condition of the truck and get back with me. He did get back with me within 15 minutes (as promised) and gave me his word that everything was clean and in good working order inside and out. We were concerned about driving a distance, only to be let down once again. I called my husband, sent him the information on the truck, and expressed that I really trusted Mike. We talked about it and decided to go up that night when I got home from work. Mike was with some other customers when we arrived, but he was able to come out briefly and meet us. He told us to go out and look at the trucks and let him know if we wanted to take a test drive. We did, and were happy with the truck. We went back in and Mike spent time talking with us and getting to know us. We felt that he genuinely cared about our happiness. Mike's willingness to listen to our concerns and be patient with us showed he has a great deal of integrity and compassion. He made the whole process painless and as smooth as possible. Once we agreed to the truck price and the value of our trade in, we met with the finance manager, Dave Reilly. This was an equally pleasant experience. He found us the best rate and told us a little bit about our lender and even told us where to find the branch in Madison (they work with many lenders to find you the best rate). The whole process with Mike and Dave took about 90 minutes from start to finish. We were back on the road in no time, in the perfect, very high quality 'new-to-us' truck. Thank you so much for everything, Mike, Dave, and Michelle. We cannot express our gratitude enough. We are absolutely satisfied with the entire experience of working with all of you. The whole process exceeded our expectations. I couldn't wait to write this testimonial as I can't say enough good things about this dealership. They have taken all of the pain out of buying a used or new car. Lenz Truck Center will be our auto dealership from hear on out. We highly recommend them to anyone with their future vehicle needs.
