Where do I begin My father died Sep 3,2026 I his daughter brought his paid off 2022 Chevy Silverado in that has 44k miles on it in for an oil change I was immediately told a check engine light was on and run brought his paid off 2022 Chevy Silverado in that has 44k miles on it in for an oil change I was immediately told a check engine light was on and running transmission codes I then asked about warranties since it still had fewer miles on it was told it had a 75k warranty and a 100k warranty on it by the first guy at check in then was given a paper to sign for 320$ which I was unsure about Volkswagen does not do this the 200$ diagnostic if warranty doesn’t cover it and 120$ for an oil change when I asked what codes they wouldn’t be specific I wasn’t given and type of papers when my husband got there they quickly told him what codes they say it will be 3 days this was on Tuesday the 15th hadn’t heard anything so I call on the third day which was the 17th at 8:30 am Eric never called back instead I received a text with a link only showing to charges one for 500$ and another for 864 labeled urgent transmission issue asking me to accept which I did not he never called Friday morning he calls and asks did I see it so I said yes and I didn’t understand what I was looking at he gets to saying the 75k warranty didn’t cover the module so I say what about the 100k certified pre owned he says I don’t see that uhhh uhhh I’ll call you back let me dig not even 3 mins later he calls back I call my father in law who is a mechanic and also has a 2025 Silverado now all the sudden he sees the warranty and it’s covered and the 864 is just for the transmission fluid it’s recommended at 45k miles well why didn’t the link I got state what it was for then ? Because I’m a woman bc I’m young I’m not stupid so boom I was supposedly waiting for my truck to be ready at 4:51 pm on Friday some new guy texts and states this Mr. Pinner I wanted to touch base for Eric and give you an update. The tech has the part and Eric will touch base again on Monday to let you know the status. Have a great weekend! Reply STOP to OptOut from GEORGE MOORE CHEVROL So I’m upset at this point and start questioning why would I have had to leave the truck for 6 days when in fact that morning I was told it would be ready then I get the following response I see that the check engine light looks to be one of the primary concerns the vehicle was brought in for. With the check engine light diagnostics 24-48 hours is not abnormal. That is where the initial 3 days came in. Once we did the repair for the check engine light it needed the park switch. once the park switch was replaced it appears that there was circuit code that was still present and had to be further diagnosed after the failed part was replaced. Reply STOP to OptOut from GEORGE MOORE CHEVROL So he is saying something else was wrong but no one EVER CALLED and asked my permission or let me know anything else I never even accepted anything other then the 320$ for the oil change and if the warranty didn’t cover the diagnostic 🤷🏻‍♀️ so that guy gets on the phone after I call that out and started explaining Eric went home sick but what does that have to do with my car ???? Why are you calling me with completely different info boom Monday comes Eric calls saying how sick he was which I DID NOT CARE ABOUT PLACING BLAME ON THE OTHER GUY BUT THEN SAYING I HAD TO pay 420$ 😂😂😂 after Friday stating my warranty covered it then forgotten had already discussed my 100k warranty Friday I asked to speak with a manager bc at this point I’m furious I was lied to multiple times my dads memorial service was Saturday the 19th and we wanted his truck there he immediately calls right back saying the manager wanted him to give me the good news it was good willed which was total xxxxxxxx I have the print out and my truck is in fact still covered by bravo and the power train along with several other warranties ! Then today 9/23 a manager name Kelsey calls me for what I don’t know that was the qorat experience I’ve ever had at any dealership I would never come back they are all liar More
