Replacing the head gasket is a widely experienced by customers for this model of Prius because they commonly wear out because the internal combustion engine is frequently stopping and restarting to charge the battery. The car was running fine and there was no indication of any engine problem other than the very recent head gasket coolant leak. An honest shop would have provided the option of a head gasket replacement instead of having a money-grab policy of replacing the engine for $11,600 as the only fix offered or trading in the car. unfortunately my car was not vacuumed as I had asked. also did not receive a car wash as I was asked if I wanted one. I requested a shuttle when I arrived & stated I had another appointment to get to but also did not receive a car wash as I was asked if I wanted one.
