Superb Car Buying Experience Had a great experience buying my new Mazda 3 hatchback yesterday. I love that the actual price was listed on the website so there were no surprises when it came down to signing paperwork. I worked with Whitney who was very knowledgeable about all the great features on my vehicle. She was also one of the nicest folks you will ever meet. The finance guy Joey was also very nice and super efficient. Everyone seemed super nice, we met the service manager Fredy who gave us his card and told us if any lights ever come on, on the dash that we could take a photo and email him for advice. What an awesome operation this dealership is. So glad I decided to believe what people are saying and make the 40 mile drive from Long Beach! Thank you Cap Mazda team! More

Attentive, respectful dealer that's willing to work! This was my first car in 12 years...my parents had bought the last one. Needless to say, I had never really worked with a dealer. I had been looking at a new car for awhile, and had visited several dealers, and was alternating between nervous (dealers that came on incredibly strong), frustrated (dealers that won't deal), and irritated (dealers that didn't know a thing except that they need to move "x" widgets by "xx/xx/xx date"). Everyone at Capistrano Mazda was fantastic to deal with. Katrina Brown was my salesperson, and she was easily the most easygoing, friendly, knowledgeable, and accommodating salesperson I had dealt with. She was quick to respond to e-mails and very transparent with her quotes, proving that she was able to work with data from other dealers. Not once did she outrightly dismiss a quote from another dealer or an offer from me. Every idea was entertaining, and every counteroffer was neatly broken down. I did have a trade in...a rather old trade in. Now, while the trade in still looked great, ran great, and had lots of options, it was still old and had lots of miles. Katrina did not give me any runaround about how much Capistrano Mazda could offer: She was very clear that the maximum was between $100 to $200, and she apologized a lot for any offense caused. I thought this was really kind, not because I was offended (I realized it was worth more in memories than it was on the market!), but because she wanted to keep my business without scaring me off. I also appreciate that Capistrano Mazda isn't trying to roll the cost of trade ins into their new vehicle sales. Other dealers offered as much as $1000 with higher MSRPs on new cars. However, Katrina proved that she was interested in the most advantageous deal for me by suggesting CarMax (why hadn't I thought of that?). I drove there, got an offer for $2000, and I was now even closer to a new car. With a few more quotes, and some e-mails from Moe Afzal, I was able to get a fantastic offer on an MX-5 Club with the Brembo/BBS package that was very, very good. Honestly, what clinched the deal, what made me decide that I wanted to visit Capistrano Mazda and Katrina, was the YouTube video she posted the next morning. A beautiful jet black MX-5 with the options I wanted as on the lot, and in the morning, I got a fantastic walk around with the car addressed to me. Even though making and posting a YouTube video isn't necessarily hard, it was definitely an interesting way to personalize the experience for me and far beyond what any other dealer had done. I appreciated it, and I was ready to go. Throughout the entire process at the dealership, I was given space to discuss things with my partner, very clear breakdowns of the offer, and a friendly staff. I can't stress enough how important was to not have to be in the ridiculous "Let me go speak to my manager" back and forth and all of the silliness that entails. It was just such a positive, clear experience. I honestly felt that Katrina was my representative to the sales manager, and she was doing what she could do get me the best offer for me. Clearly, Capistrano Mazda was getting *something* out of the deal, but I really never felt like they were trying to extract whatever that was from me. They wanted to move a car for a competitive price. I need to add here that Katrina was easily the most knowledgeable salesperson about the Mazda MX-5, and I think about Mazda's entire lineup in general. Too many times at these dealers, you get salespeople that are really just interested in their numbers and couldn't care any less whether they were selling sports cars or tractors. Katrina knew specifications, the difference between trim levels, where all of the storage locations were scattered throughout the car, the different color options, the design history...she really knew about it! Whether this comes from a genuine interest in the car or a genuine interest in the job, I don't know...but the information was there. There were dealers that had no idea about horsepower, why the car was designed the way it was...and yet still tried to sell me the car! Katrina not only knew, but was able to have a good discussion about the merits of the vehicle. I honestly didn't need anyone to "sell" it to me, but Katrina was a fantastic partner to talk about the car with. Her knowledge made it feel like I was talking to someone who cared, rather than someone who could be selling Fords or Mazdas, used Saturns or Ferraris. I finally agreed to a fantastic deal, really, and everything moved quickly from there. The Finance Department (Paul Clark) was super fast, especially since I had my own financing. Nothing was pushed, no one tried to up-sell on a high interest rate loan or warranties. Of course, the warranty was offered (they wouldn't be doing their job if it hadn't been offered), but once it was turned down, it was all paperwork from there. Also, what was really cool, is that Katrina, Moe, and the manager seemed just as excited as I was. Katrina took a selfie of all of us for herself, Moe seemed to be smiling (I know, I know, they just sold a car, but I can't imagine this was totally new, so I think they were seriously glad), and even the owner stopped by! Of course, I was a little distracted at that point, so I didn't really talk to him as much as I should have. Then it was time to go! If you're looking for a new Mazda in Southern California, I think this is the place to go, and I hope that Katrina Brown is your salesperson! I couldn't recommend this place enough for taking a stressful experience and turning it into once where I felt like a winner. Thank you Capistrano Mazda, and thank you Katrina! More

Best Car Dealership to purchase your next car! After so many car dealerships that I have been to, I can definitely say that Capistrano Mazda Dealership really has the "un-dealer" type of relatioshi After so many car dealerships that I have been to, I can definitely say that Capistrano Mazda Dealership really has the "un-dealer" type of relatioship mission with their customers and that is a great thing because of their smileage pricing program (they never charge more than the car's Manufacturer's Suggested Retail Price)!!! I have been in contact with Marcin a few weeks before I came in because I really like to know more about the car that I wanted to purchase and do my research. He gave me a lot more information that I needed (he even sent me a custom video with the car!) and you can feel that he has that burning passion to help other people! When I finally came in, Diego greeted me right away, helped me test drive the car and answered more questions that I had. While working with the price of the vehicle, Moe and Diego helped me even lower down the price of the new car through the loyalty discount program and also for being in the United States Navy! I am very thankful for them because I was able to buy the car that I wanted without having to worry about paying more than I should. I would like to thank Joe(also a Manny Pacquiao fan) for his patience for helping me fill out all those financing paperwork! After making the purchase, Marcin walked me through the different features of the car and spent another hour or two giving me more information (i.e, Free satellite radio activation, Bluetooth, Navigation, etc.) and he didn't have to do that! By the way, the car that I purchased was the none other than 2016 Mazda Miata MX-5 4th generation! Very fun car to drive! Go to this dealership now! More

Best Dealership EVER I've never been to a dealership where I felt more like an important individual. Katrina our car salesperson was thorough, patient and so so kind. She explained every little facet of our new car and did it with a smile on her face and a hug for me when she was done. This gal knows her stuff!! Moe was fantastic in getting us processed quickly and efficiently and the finance department was quick and thorough. We absolutely LOVE our new CX5 and we are directing everyone we know to go over to Capistrano Mazda! More

These folks know customer service, know what it takes to make customers feel like family, and are willing to go the extra mile to ensure their motto of "Smileage Guaranteed" is always front and center. This is the first experience my 18 year old daughter had with a dealership, I think they have set the bar sooo high that any others in the future (if any!!) will pale in comparison. I had browsed other dealerships but definitely made the best decision choosing Capistrano Mazda! After receiving a few offers that were exactly what I wanted I decided to call Capistrano Mazda and see what they could offer. I was in touch with AJ and he took down what I would like and how much my other offers were. Within an hour I had a call back with an offer less than the lowest one I had received. Over the next hour I got a personalized video from AJ showing features of the car. His personality made the relationship with Capistrano Mazda even stronger. I headed to the dealership after work not expecting that what he told me on the phone to be exactly what I got! I figured the must be something hidden but from the quote on the phone to when I signed paperwork everything was transparent. I am so impressed with the honesty and transparency of this dealership. AJ had the car cleaned and gassed up extremely quickly and showed me how to use many of the new features. Moe, the manager, explained all parts of the contract and is extremely sincere. When it got to financing with Paul I anticipated a good hour of signing. I met with him for 10 minutes and the car was mine! This entire experience was wonderful and would recommend this dealership to all. Purchase of my new vehicle was so easy and enjoyable! I took my Mazda in for service and asked if I could look at some new models. Whitney helped me and was so knowledgeable. Moe was very straightforward and willing to work with me when negotiating my trade-in and purchase price. The whole experience was very pleasant and I will be taking my new car to them for all my service needs. Fredy in Service is great too. I love my new car! More

He couldn't be more friendly and less pushy, exactly the opposite of your typical car salesman. After exploring other makes and models I decided on a CX-5 and contacted multiple dealers in the area, After giving a competitive offer, I made my choice to work with Capo Mazda. Moe, Katrina and Marcin were the most friendly and helpful employees I've ever encountered at a dealership and made the whole experience incredibly enjoyable. Even if they didn't offer a year of free maintenance I would still return here for any future needs. Couldn't recommend them higher! More
