Helpful and got me the car I wanted The whole team at Capo Mazda gave us the chance to get a new car when we desperately needed it. A WONDERFUL experience !! My wife and I were looking at mid-sized suvs/crossovers. We were undecided but had narrowed our search down to Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, and Mazda. My wife and I were looking at mid-sized suvs/crossovers. We were undecided but had narrowed our search down to Honda, Toyota, Hyundai, Kia, and Mazda. The car buying experience can be annoying and stressful, as we all know. We had questions about these vehicles but did not want to be pushed or hounded while we were looking around the lot. Some sales people seemed like they were reading off scripts. They didn't ask us questions, didn't listen to what WE were asking, others acted as though we were interrupting them. This is commission sales, we get it. We are in sales also. Then we went to Capistrano Mazda and met Marcin. Warm, honest, engaging, asked what was important to US !! Imagine that, he cared about what WE wanted ! We were looking at the CX5. He showed us the differences between trim levels and when we told him that we just became grandparents, he went straight into the safety features of the vehicle....again, he listened. When we wanted to get some ideas of lease costs versus purchasing, he and his sales manager, Tom, couldn't be more accommodating or helpful. We explained to Marcin that we still wanted to see Hyundai and Kia. No problem. He said "If you have any questions please feel free to call" NO pressure ! That night we went home and made our decision. The next day we called Marcin and explained what vehicle we wanted, the color and interior, and where we wanted to be monthly. Again, NO problem. He called back within minutes telling us exactly what we need to put down. And again, a BIG thank you to his sales manager for accommodating us by giving us the numbers. Other dealers won't give you ANY information if your not ready to sign on the dotted line. We went to the dealership that night, Marcin and his manager Moe, found us the vehicle that we wanted and we DID sign on the dotted line ! Joey, the finance manager, met us with the paperwork and everything went very smoothly. 2 days later when we went to pick up the car, we found out that the dealer that they were going to get the car from sold it that day. Marcin and Moe scrambled to get us another vehicle and had I'm there waiting for us. Kevin, the other finance manager, had the new paperwork all ready for us and again, everything went smooth as silk. And THIS vehicle had 50 less miles on it !! We are VERY satisfied customers and could not recommend this team of professionals any more highly. A WONDERFUL car buying experience ! More

2016 Mazda CX5, Excellent car buying expereince I was in market for new compact SUV. We went to this dealer to test drive the CX5. As soon as we walked in, Katrina greeted us with smile and got the I was in market for new compact SUV. We went to this dealer to test drive the CX5. As soon as we walked in, Katrina greeted us with smile and got the car for test drive. I loved the car and decided this car beats any other car in same class that I have seen so I decided to purchase the car that night. Katrina was professional, courteous and very friendly, unlike any other car sales person out there. She wasn't pushy or trying to go back and forth with price. Katrina and her manager Moe were willing to beat any other dealer price, so why go somewhere else :) I felt very comfortable dealing with Katrina. I definitely recommend this dealer and Katrina to anyone looking for a Mazda. More

AJ was the best, very professional and nice. I went into Capistrano Mazda to purchase a car for my daughter. She is 18 and will be making the payments herself. We told them how much we had to put down and what we wanted her payments to be. Moe Afzal the Sales Manager and AJ, (our salesmen) were fantastic. We bought the Mazda 3 and we love it!! I actually like it better then my VW sport wagon. It drives so smooth and gets 41 miles to the gallon. I highly recommend AJ, he was so helpful and knowledgeable without being pushy. I've bought several new cars before and have never had the wonderful experience we had at Capistrano Mazda. When I'm ready for a new car I will for sure be going to Capistrano Mazda and purchasing a car from them. If I could give them 10 stars I would!! Cathi Chaney More

2016 Mazda 6 GT purchase I came into the dealer looking at a CX5 but quickly realized that the Mazda 6 would better suit my life style. I was greeted by Mo the Sales Manager w I came into the dealer looking at a CX5 but quickly realized that the Mazda 6 would better suit my life style. I was greeted by Mo the Sales Manager who said that Katrina Brown would assist me with any questions and test drives. Both employees were service oriented non pressure and professional. I also went to two other dealers in OC (both Mazda) and felt most comfortable with the environment and staff at CapoMazda. They took great care of me, had the car ready washed, gassed, and detailed and out of finance within an hour. Unreal and kudos to everyone there. More

After walking out of a different Mazda dealership last summer because of their attitude and having a terrible experience at a Toyota dealership a coup After walking out of a different Mazda dealership last summer because of their attitude and having a terrible experience at a Toyota dealership a couple of days later when I leased a car for my wife, I was not looking forward to walking onto another car dealership lot. Especially being in sales myself for 14 of the last 15 years, the last thing I wanted to do was talk to a salesman. I met AJ Jamshidi on Saturday when I stopped by with my daughter. We was kind, nice, and not pushy at all. Great change of pace. My main criteria was getting a smaller car (I drive a Chevy Tahoe) but a car that I could still fit my 3 surfboards in. I didn't have my surfboards on me when I visited AJ the first time so I was grateful when I opened my email that night. Being in sales myself, I appreciated that he knew my need, addressed my need, and solved my need. His email contained a video of him with the cars that I previewed that day as well as recapping our conversation, but the best part of the video was him lying down in the back of the hatchback with one of the back seats down showing me that he's almost six feet tall and he fits so my surfboards would definitely fit. Literally, one of the funniest things I've ever seen but extremely effective. Great sales skills right there addressing the customer's (me) needs. I'm guessing that certain dealerships encourage their sales people to send these videos, but regardless, the creativity that he showed, his knowledge of the cars that I was looking at, and his overall attitude were the reasons I went back to buy from him. I've showed his video to many other salespeople at my work and they loved it. At the time to negotiate and close the deal, I dealt with Moe. Very professional, didn't feel pressured at all and we walked out with what we thought was a fair deal. Believe both sides won on this transaction. Only complaint is that we got there late on a Sunday and there was only one person doing the financial paperwork so it took a long time to finally sign paperwork after we negotiated our deal. Apparently, there were two other deals happening at the same time and only one person handling paperwork which was frustrating. This dealership will have my business for life after this pleasant experience and I will look for AJ first, I recommend you do the same. More

Do not buy a car anywhere else! I bought a Mazda 6 last month and I just want to let everyone know what exceptional service I received from the salesperson, Katrina, and the rest of I bought a Mazda 6 last month and I just want to let everyone know what exceptional service I received from the salesperson, Katrina, and the rest of the staff at Capistrano Mazda!!! Katrina was very patient with me. She took a great deal of time explaining answers to my questions and addressing my every concern. I am a person who asks very many questions because I want to ensure that I am getting the best product and customer service for what I pay. The saying holds true that you get what you pay for. Sometimes consumers even pay more for unsatisfactory service at other establishments that they have to pay an annual membership fee for and their management is not as caring, helpful, or even concerned about their consumers' wants and/or needs. Katrina went back and forth several times with her manager, Moe, who is also excellent, to work within my budget. She truly cares about her customers and wants to meet their needs. Three years ago, I bought a vehicle from Carmax. Carmax was over-priced and there was not even the slightest comparison in sales or service to Capistrano Mazda. It was like night and day. At Carmax, I had several issues with the proof of insurance, even though the sales person would not let me drive off the lot without speaking to my insurance company to verify that my newly purchased vehicle was added. I am not so electronically savvy. Katrina took quite a lengthy amount of time demonstrating all the electronic features of my new Mazda. I love it, especially the blue tooth texting feature! Katrina is extremely detailed, thorough, pleasant, and very knowledgeable about all the Mazda products. Katrina's customer service, attention to detail, and follow up skills are unparalleled. She explained the navigation, and add-ons, such as the ecobond thoroughly and in terms that I could understand. She exemplifies the true meaning of customer service which we do not see too often these days,unfortunately. Paul who went over the financing terms of my agreement with Mazda also offered me thorough and detailed information. He answered all my numerous questions in a patient and friendly manner. I recently also used the Mazda service center to get my echobond put on the car and their service staff was also excellent, which was no surprise! Julie at the service counter greeted me with a smile. She was pleasant, patient, and speedy to get me checked in and into a loaner vehicle. The Service Manager, Freddy, stands by his title "Service" Manager. Just like the rest of the staff, he was also, pleasant, patient, speedy, and thorough. I have not ever had this type of legendary service in any dealership or business establishment, for that matter, that has truly made my experience memorable. This definitely was Service with a Smile!
