I recently purchased a used 2023 Supra from Northside Lexus. I dealt with Nang and initially things were fine. I noticed on the website CarFax link that the vehicle was initially sold as a certified go Lexus. I dealt with Nang and initially things were fine. I noticed on the website CarFax link that the vehicle was initially sold as a certified gold used Toyota (which carries a 7 year/100,000 mile warranty). I asked Nang about this as we were discussing pricing via text and he told me he wasn't sure. A bit later I received a price offer and the quote "Gold Certified". I called him to ask about this and he said he had a friend that worked for a Toyota dealer and looked up the vin to confirm its certified status. This was a MAJOR factor in my decision to buy the vehicle (as I was directly comparing against another Supra that day with lesser miles and price). We were then able to agree on a price. I left the same day from San Antonio to drive to Houston to take delivery. Things were going seemingly smoothly until I was concluding the signing of the paperwork. I inquired to Nang what I needed to do to transfer the certified warranty. He texted his friend contact from Toyota and was told that a transfer paper would be needed but little other details were provided. I noticed a hesitance in his voice as he told me this and my heart started to sink. I completed delivery and promptly called Toyota's national warranty line when I returned home 4 hours later. My fears were realized as I was told the vehicle warranty could not be transferred without the previous owners signature. After reaching out to Nang, it didn't appear any further assistance could be offered from Northside's end but to purchase an extended vehicle warranty contract (which I later did at a different Toyota dealer at substantially less cost than Northside quoted). While I plan to enjoy the vehicle, the additional unforeseen costs and (whether purposeful or not) deceptive nature greatly diminished the experience. If the dealership sees this and would like to reach to come to a resolution that is positive for both parties, I am open to discuss. More

Positively worked with us to reach a more than fair price for an expensive used vehicle offering important incentives with our concerns and desires in mind. We feel they did all they could reasonably do to m for an expensive used vehicle offering important incentives with our concerns and desires in mind. We feel they did all they could reasonably do to make us comfortable with the organization and with their interest in positively addressing our concerns and desires. They went the extra mile!!!! which is unusual in our experience with automobile dealerships. More
