Norman Vassel, the best there is, no one else but him checks me i.He's taken care of me on my 3 other RAV and i call to make sure he is there the day i need to go. This is a copy of the letter I sent to them: Was in this morning for an oil change. A month ago a lady called me from your establishment and said you all were offering me a free oil change for our Corolla. morning for an oil change. The car’s mileage hadn’t turned over for maintenance yet so I said it would be a few weeks before it did and I would be in. She said she would keep the coupon on file in the computer for when I came in and asked if she could call back in a couple of weeks. She called me back a couple weeks later for the same thing but the mileage still had not turned over. She said the coupon would still be on file. So yesterday, the mileage turned over and I promptly called to make an appointment for this morning. When I got there Norman asked me if I had any coupons and I told him there was one on file. He comes to me a few minutes later and tells me there is no coupon on file. I was going to leave, but I asked how much is the oil change and he told me eighty-some-odd dollars, so given the fact the last time I was in with my van, the charge would have been over a hundred dollars. I said go ahead. I understand the reason why though. So, when the oil change was over and while I was paying him I told him had I known the coupon on file was not there I would brought the $29.99 coupon I had received in the mail. I told him this was a very clear “bait and switch” and I would not be back in unless you want to offer me the $29.99 discount. Now mind you, I did not raise my voice one little bit. His response was, “how is that going to benefit us?” Given my use of the word “unless,” the benefit should have been clear to him. He said it sounds like I was trying to gain leverage for a discount, those were his words. He kept on and on and on saying I wasn’t coming back so why the discount. His tone of voice was really pissy, I told him so and I won’t be back. He then tells me there is an additional 3% charge for the credit card. I said that is fine. I then told him; this is the second time I have had a dishonest transaction with your company. The last time was with the same vehicle, the service tech tried to sell me a new set of tires. He showed me some roughness on the edge of one tire and said it looked like it might have been hit by a curb or something in the road. The tires are still on the car. What Norman should have done from the outset was offer me a discount anyhow. Even if it was just the mail offer of $29.99. It may have been more for the synthetic oil, I don’t know because I didn’t have the coupon with me. There was a man standing right next door who heard our entire conversation, so you can verify what I have told you. Unless of course, he is also dishonest. So, the upshot here is you folks are very clearly running a dishonest business. I will not be back. What’s more You have just created your worst walking talking bad advertisement. I will post this on every review site I can find. More
