Orlando at Toyota Tampa Bay provided exceptional service as my advisor during my recent visit. Norman did an excellent job in taking care of my car. I was sent a video with the areas that needed repair. I was also given a rental car while my car was being repaired. My recent experience with Norman Vassell is nothing less than SUPERB! Norman has been my vehicle technician since 2017 when I relocated to Tampa. He has been both professional and personal in ensuring my than SUPERB! Norman has been my vehicle technician since 2017 when I relocated to Tampa. He has been both professional and personal in ensuring my vehicles are repaired at the best possible price and quality of service. I have rarely had to return the vehicles for follow-up work. I own a 1998 4-Runner with 409K miles and a 2006 Avalon with 208K miles. Both vehicles are well-maintained and operate as if they were new vehicles. This could only have been possible with the timely and cost-effective recommendations for service and repairs that Norman has made over the years. I been a loyal customer for many years. I even travel out of my way, over 35 miles to get good service. Your new billing policy (bank charges 3%, and then TOTB passes that charge down to th I even travel out of my way, over 35 miles to get good service. I depend on paying with a Credit card as I don't carry a large amounts of cash, especially when the bill is over $2000.00. Who carries that amount of money? I scheduled an oil change and the repairs were unexpected..There is no notice of this surcharge on your website. When I called to schedule my service I was not informed of the new policy. If so I would have made some other arrangements in settling the bill. To make matters worse the part that was to be installed was malfunctioning. I was told that a replacement part needs to be delivered. So another 35 miles home and 35 miles back the next day. My service rep, Norman Vassell was very helpful and tried to explain why the surcharge. Not his doing. I think its time to start looking closer to home for auto service. More
