I'm a single mom and I have a beautiful daughter who is in the medical field. Family time is very important to me. We have a family camping trip every year with my mom and all her kids and grandchildren. I was a barber before I entered into the car business and I still enjoy cutting hair. I'm a huge Cowboys and Rangers fan. I used to work part time at Texas Stadium and Rangers Ballpark just so I could go to all the home games. I now have a passion for fitness and I have run many races including a Half Marathon. I attend Hillside Community Church and I am an assistant teacher in 2rd grade bible class. I like helping others and enjoy being surrounded by other positive people.

Mr. Krivanek, My name is Joshua Fichter and I am the Director of Operations here at Five Star Ford. I would first like to apologize for your experience here at Five Star Ford. This is certainly not how we want our customers taken care of and I am sorry that it occurred. I have done some investigating internally to see where our process failed and to make sure something like this does not happen again. During my investigation I found where we did not call you back or keep you informed of the inventory just as you stated. The only explanation I can offer is we did not schedule regular follow-up in our system to remind us to check inventory and provide you with a call update and that is unacceptable. Ironically, I did find a follow-up call scheduled for September 28th, the day your review posted, that was put in our system on August 30th. Obviously 30 days is too long to wait between contacts and I have addressed this with them. I know you purchased from another dealership and I hate the fact that we did not do what we should have to sell you a Mustang here. Joshua, Thank you for following up and making an effort to correct this situation. The only extra advice I can give is to make it easy for me to buy. You should know that any customer that walks in the door is looking at spending a lot of both, time and money on their next car. I know not all customers are equal but if one is sitting with a sales manager saying he wants one I think it's safe to say that I am being serious about a sale. The only other thing that I didn't like about my experience that you didn't quite touch on was the concept of buying through Five Star another vehicle from another dealership. I am not a fan of buying a window sticker. Printing up and then asking me to commit to only a window sticker to just see the vehicle is just not how I like to do business. I don't want a dealer beaten car with more then say 50 or 60 miles on it. I want to know that if the car isn't in the condition I expect that I have an out. The dealer in Lewisville allowed me to not only set stipulations on the sale of a vehicle I had not seen, he went shopping with me at other area dealers in his network. That made me less aggressive on the sale because the man was earning his commission. I hope that you will at least take some of my suggestions and improve that ability because I know that there isn't really a way to have every particular option a car can possibly have sitting on your lot. However I shouldn't have to leave twice due to stone walling on the sales process after I explain my apprehension about working that way. I can assure you that after the second time I won't come back. Offer me a solution not the door, and you are the first person to talk to me out of Five Star Sales that hasn't done that so I again thank you for taking my situation seriously.
