worth the drive from Illinois to Ohio to buy a new Honda This was our first Honda purchase even though our daughter, Lisa Jones, has had 5 Hondas. I checked online for Honda Pilots and color options. I fell This was our first Honda purchase even though our daughter, Lisa Jones, has had 5 Hondas. I checked online for Honda Pilots and color options. I fell in love with the Steel Sapphire Metallic. Our local Honda dealer did not have one in that color and pushed us to take another color. My daughter suggested looking in the Powell area where she lives. I did and there were three dealers with that color. We were planning a trip to see our daughter toward the end of June (about 4 weeks after I started looking in her area). When I told Lisa where we were looking; she immediately recommended Roush Honda-she and her husband had bought two Hondas there and raved about the service. One of the other dealers that had dealt with was not a pleasant experience. So with that recommendation, I texted an enquiry about purchasing a vehicle out of state. Otis Tate responded and we communicated via email and when I gave him the model and color I was looking at, he sent information and a quote for both purchasing and leasing. We set up an appointment with Otis and met with him on June 28, 2018; he was friendly, knowledgeable and went through details on the options we had. There was no pressure and we loved the looks if the Pilot. The finance guy was very helpful-he went through the figures on the contract line by line. When he showed us the extra coverage we could buy, he did not push or try to talk us into buying when we passed on the extras. From arrival to driving away in our new SUV, the attention, friendliness and knowledge was outstanding from Otis Tate to the finance guy to the guys who cleaned the Pilot. I cannot say enough good things about Roush Honda and especially Otis Tate. We drove away happy, happy, happy and felt we had found a new friend in Otis Tate. If you're going to buy a Honda, call Roush and ask for Otis Tate- - you will be glad you did. More
