Concerns with the Costco Auto Buy Program and this Dealership!! If you use Lithia Reno Subaru for the Costco Auto Buy Program, make sure they show you the Costco Members Only Price Sheet. Paul did not Dealership!! If you use Lithia Reno Subaru for the Costco Auto Buy Program, make sure they show you the Costco Members Only Price Sheet. Paul did not show us the sheet and misled us about the Costco price. He said the negotiated price was $500 higher than it actually was. He then said because they were really wanting to sell me the car he would give me an additional $500 off (which I found out later brought it to the negotiated price we were supposed to get with Costco anyway). At best this is misleading, at worst it is lying. When we were later negotiating for trade-in values, he said that because they are already losing money by "being nice" and giving us the extra $500 off, that they couldn't do any more for the trade-in. Paul was using leverage on a discount we were supposed to get in the first place, which again is misleading (or lying). Only after going home and contacting Costco was I able to discover all this. Big tip - get the Costco Members Only Price Sheet first!!!! Also while we were there, my husband was confronted by Calin. Calin was giving my husband a hard time as to why we didn't do our business through him. He implied clients were being stolen and he was bit aggressive about it. Our dealings with Calin was weeks before when we went in and said we ONLY wanted to test drive, which we did but of course he tried to sell to us then. When you sign up through the Costco program - a sales person is assigned to you - we didn't pick Paul he called us. For Calin to take out his frustrations with my husband was beyond unprofessional. Jesse was great on getting us through all the paperwork, financing, and showing all the features of the new car. Jesse was and has been very helpful in getting to the bottom of the inconsistencies we discovered after buying the car through the Costco program. In the end, we got the car we wanted for the price we were supposed to but I'm not sure we'll use Lithia Reno Subaru again. The unprofessional behavior and the misleading (or lying) we experienced certainly has made us not trust the dealership. More

Lithia exceeded any and all expectations we had and the sales and service team was top notch. When we first called to inquire about a car, Rich was very helpful in answering our questions and setting up an appointment with us. When we arrived at the dealership, we were immediately greeted by Paul who put us in the hands of Cynthia who was an absolutely fantastic sales associate. She went above and beyond what we could have expected to get us the car we wanted, including a 4 -5 hour round trip drive to pick up the car. She was able to answer any question we had or put us in the hands of someone who could. Her knowledge of cars in general was quite impressive as was the information she was able to provide us with regarding warranties, financing, and DMV related questions. We could not have asked for a better sales person. The finance/loan portion of the car buying process was also a good experience thanks to Jonathan who was also a pleasure to work with. The general manager, Randy, went out of his way to introduce himself and make sure we were satisfied with everything that was taking place. Buying a car from Lithia was a great experience and we would highly recommend the team we worked and will definitely do business with them again in the future. Thanks Lithia! More

Bought my first Subaru Outback in 2002 from you. Happy with sale, happy with the service. Especially happy with the car. Have driven the car for almost 11 years, trouble free, throught all kinds of weathe with sale, happy with the service. Especially happy with the car. Have driven the car for almost 11 years, trouble free, throught all kinds of weather and all kinds of conditions. Would not own anothr brand! This current purchase started throught the internet with Paul. We exchanged a number of emails, all pleasant, all helpful. This went on for a couple of months, until we finally decided to go to the agency and actually take a look and go for a drive. We were originally looking at a 2014 Forester, but once we saw the 2013 Outback, we changed our minds and decided to go outback. We were treated very well. Most of our dealings were with Jesse, very nice helpful young man, no pressure, no BS. We saw the car, we drove the car, we liked the car......we bought the car. At our age this will probably be our last car. But if we were around to by another it would be a Reno Subaru. I'm sure we will continue to get great service at your service department as we have in the past. More

My husband and I were looking at trading our car that our family had outgrown for something more fitting of our family and after several weeks of looking and being strong armed by sales folks and bombarded w family had outgrown for something more fitting of our family and after several weeks of looking and being strong armed by sales folks and bombarded with phone calls while we were trying to decide what we really liked best and even being treated very badly by one area dealership we had sort of decided that we would just keep the car we had and look again some at a later date. I happened to be looking at Lithia Reno Subaru's website because they had a used Jeep that matched what we were looking for. It turned out that the vehicle was sold but I was still looking at their inventory. I found a pre-owned Subaru Legacy in their inventory that was essentially new 2013 with 274 miles so I sent an inquiry on that car. I received an email back from Paul Bushnell asking me to give him a call which I dreaded I had been called so many times by dealerships that I didn't want to have my phone number with another. I called and I am very glad that I did, Paul was the beginning of the best experience we have ever had buying a car. After a couple phone calls and emails back and forth with Paul we had a $$$ amount that we were pre approved. Due to schedule conflicts for us we were not able to work with Paul when we went to the dealership but he had told me to see Jesse Watkins when we came in. We got there at about 7pm and Jesse was better than I expected rather than trying to hurry us along and get to go home he was showing us what we could choose from got us on a test drive allowing me to drive the car not making me stay on city streets on some arranged route. We liked the car we drove so we wanted to talk numbers. There was no getting the numbers we had, go talk to some faceless person behind closed office doors come back with what they want, rinse and repeat. We told Jesse about what we had where we wanted to be for a payment about our trade in the small problem with the trade in we had not registered it for the year yet because we had been looking for another car so we had not done that yet. That is when we were introduced to Dustin Snider, they worked it out so we could get our trade to the dealership we just had the task left of the contracts. By the time we left the dealership that night with our new car it was 10:30 pm and NEVER once in that time did anyone that we were working with seem like hurry up already I want to go home just come back tomorrow earlier so we can do this deal because it was after 8:00 and we are closed. We signed our paperwork and the time was taken to explain all of it not just skim over the highlights and move on to the next piece of paper that you have to sign. The next morning we had to go into the dealership because in the daylight we had noticed a scrape in the paint on the hood like there was a hose or something slid across the hood. When we went in they took the car right in buffed the blemish out and sent us on our way no fuss no muss. All that was left was the final word on our financing which was very quick to be finished up. Past experience it takes weeks to know about weather it is your car and then usually a new contract because something changes, not in this case they told us what the interest rate, payment, contract length & all that when we signed on the dotted line and nothing changed nor did the financing take weeks it was only days. I know we will not need another new car for several years but when we do Lithia Reno Subaru has earned my business again and again. I will also tell any of my friends and family in the market for a new or preowned car to go there first. You will never look at car buying the same after the treatment you receive from the folks at Lithia Reno Subaru. More

Thank you to Paul, Jesse & Randy for making my Subaru purchase a pleasant process - particularly since I was coming in from out of state. We became convinced that the 2013 Impreza with the premium wi were not originally interested in buying new, but were interested in a Subaru purchase.
