I love their dealership they get you in they get you options. They tell you off top which you’re eligible for. Not expecting to purchase a new vehicle while in for service. I have to give credit to Sales Manager Paul Hewitt for his persuasive sales techniques! Arin was great as was another Sales Manager Gabriel service. I have to give credit to Sales Manager Paul Hewitt for his persuasive sales techniques! Arin was great as was another Sales Manager Gabriel Cruz for helping sort out a snafu after Paul and Arin were out the next day. I’ll continue to come to this dealer for service even though they are not close by. More

Everything is fine but I think there is room for improvement. Looks like service desk was short staffed when I arrived. Finally someone said we will be right with you. When I left all was good but someone left their empty red Gatorade in cup holder and a dirty napkin in my door handle. I appreciate your help and hope those guys get some more help. More

I appreciate Big Star. I barely had my car 2weeks and I got a chip in my windshield my salesman got my windshield fixed as well as my tint that had bubbled (Houston heat). So, we went in for an oil change and made a decision to have an upgrade. Trading in an accent, we were offered 12k and test drove two SUV’s. In the beginning, our salesperson was great. Financing done, price was too high and we said “no”! That’s when the pressure built, Mo went as far as telling my wife and I that basically he couldn’t make ends meet if he couldn’t sell this car. It didn’t matter if we can actually afford it, we need to buy this car. So in the beginning we were promised a 250.00 gift card, they lied. We walked out frustrated and hungry…we did spend about 6.5 hours there. Thanks for keeping us, the customer in your best interest. Also, why have internet pricing when it’s off by 5-6K? It’s a hoax, a scam and market value pricing is a joke!! No one wants a Hyundai, it’s affordable and people drive what they can afford. Thanks for lying to us. It was a real pleasure. More

DO NOT BUY FROM THESE LIARS! !!!! In late October I began talking to Big Star Hyundai in Friendswood TX about buying a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited. I made an appointment !!!! In late October I began talking to Big Star Hyundai in Friendswood TX about buying a 2023 Hyundai Elantra Hybrid Limited. I made an appointment for Nov 1st to go down there for a test drive, assured the vehicle would be in stock, When I arrived I was informed that "Hyundai Logistics" had not delivered the car, but that it would be in on Thurs. Nov 3rd. Before I went down there for my Nov 3 2pm appointment, I got a call saying the car had not arrived, suggesting an appointment for Sat 5 Nov., when they expected the arrival of the car. Unfortunately for me I arranged with my bank for a wire transfer on Nov 2 of $37,485 which was sent by my bank to theirs. Yet again they canceled my Sat 5 Nov. appointment, saying the car had not arrived, and they said it should be in within a day or two. We reset an appointment for Tues Nov 8 for me to pick up my new car. And yet again, not yet available. As a result of their inability to give me an arrival date for my already paid for car, I drove down to the dealership at 2pm that day (Tu Nov 8) to cancel my order and request the return of my payment of $37,485, either through check at that time, or return wire transfer. I waited over two hours until I was told that the comptroller, Kimberley Deraso, could not issue me a check, and that a wire transfer back into my account would be initiated on Nov 9. That afternoon Nov 8, Paul Hewitt, Sales Manager, was instrumental in trying to convince me not to cancel my purchase, offering me "additional incentives" of up to $2000 not to cancel my order. But he could not guarantee me a date of delivery for my car, so I told him no, I want my money back. I asked for proof of the wire transfer and I was told that the comptroller had left for the day, and that it would be done Wed Nov 9. I left with a Big Star Hyundai "We Owe" statement dated Nov 8 signed by a Financial Team member named Luis Delcid. To date no wire transfer has been made. Neither Luis in Finance, Paul Hewitt, Sales Manager, nor Kimberley Durarso (Comptroller) will answer my repeated calls. I am sent straight to voicemail. I am as optimistic of a timely wire transfer as I was of a timely new car delivery. UPDATE: I received a wire transfer this afternoon for $37,435 - FIFTY DOLLARS SHORT!!!!! This place is terrible. I had an appointment to test drive a car. Waited over 30 minutes and no one came over so I left. Went back a few days later because I was actually interested in the car. It had a flat so I made another appointment to come back and they were supposed to have it ready for me to test drive. When I went for the second appointment, not only was the car not ready, they had me down to test drive a completely different car. And I was essentially told they use bait and switch tactics. I believe they never had any intention of trying to sell me the car. I explained where I wanted my payments to be and I guess my business wasn't worth their time. They never quoted me a real price because according the person I spoke with they purposely advertise their vehicles at the lowest market price in order to get people in the door. They have no intention of actually selling the vehicles at the advertised price. They have a disclaimer about a "market adjustment" so I guess that makes it legal? Regardless, they never offered me an actual price, gave me a trade-in value or made any effort whatsoever. I can only assume they have so much business that mine wasn't important to them at all. Please don't waste your time here. I tried to give them a second chance and shame on me for doing so. More
