Just visited the dealership, and the experience was terrible. The sales man I dealt with Paul Paik, and I wonder why he even became a sales man. He wasn't attentive or caring. Paul Paik is the most disrespectful arrogant person who was ill mannered scammer tried to accused me of losing the car key after test drive he was the one taken car back to parking lot to park, came back a was ill mannered scammer tried to accused me of losing the car key after test drive he was the one taken car back to parking lot to park, came back asking for the key!?? He was the one last drove the car and parked! We went back to search for the key for more than 10 minutes not able to found it! Then he started to accused me for losing key that I had to pay for the key! Questioned him for the cost of the new key (will be around $500 I’ve found out later on by the other dealership) but he wasn’t answering the cost of key only pressuring me to sign the contract first when I refused to sign until find the key first, he went out and back in 10 minutes stated he has found the key underneath the seat!? The key chain was 6’ long plastic how could we were not able to find it before??? OMG! what kind of scammer is he? All that time he had the key hidden! Paul Paik hadn’t apologized! Disgusting man! I’m terribly insulted by this worthless con artist!!! How’s this dealership keeping him around to scamming the customers for an extra charge? Who’s financial gain is it??? Definitely not the customers who are getting ripped!!! Also the salesmen’s unprofessional, rude arrogant, behaviors are acceptable to the management of this dealership??? How do they value him not the customers? Who’s been abused by bad salesman name Paul Paik, how many victims??? Called twice left messages to sales manager Mr. John Sweeney and to General Manager Rocco Auriemma, sent an email to him too, no one has contacted. Obviously this dealership doesn’t care!!! More

I recently closed a deal with Paul Paik- signed a lease agreement, received my first month’s bill, and all. After seeing an irregularity in the bill, I asked about it and then without ANY explanations or notification, they cancelled my lease agreement- the deal that was signed and closed! Even the senior manager, John Sweeny was of no help and dismissive. Simply put, Paramus Hyundai is unprofessional and not trustworthy. More

Never use this irresponsible dealership I leased an IONIQ Electric car last month. Before I signed the contract I was curious about federal tax credits for lease cars, and the dealer, Mr Pai I leased an IONIQ Electric car last month. Before I signed the contract I was curious about federal tax credits for lease cars, and the dealer, Mr Paik, confirmed that a lease car is eligible for federal tax credits which are up to $7500. Given my salary, I could get a benefit of around $3,000, so I decided to process the deal. However, I realized that, by internet searching, a lease car could not get any tax credits. I was so perplexed and contacted the dealer again. However, the dealer’s reaction made me even more upset that he said he did not know this policy details. He added “Knowing I did not lie you, so I am not responsible for this misconducting legally” He admitted that purchased cars could get federal tax credits, but lease cars were not sure. While I am appealing, he brought an email message and asserted that there were no details saying that the federal tax credit is not eligible for lease cars. But I found that your internal email also clearly noted that “If a Hyundai Lease is involved on any of our models, in that case the Tax Credit is Rolled into the LEASE Price/Payment of the car, and the customer does not do anything” After seeing the message I requested to talk with the general manager, but he denied my request. I strongly believe that your sales conduct a clear misconduct which caused a considerable monetary damage to your customer. I hope to get your responsible actions following this misconduct. More

STAY AWAY My experience with this dealership and sales was that of being scammed as they attempted to pull a fast one and misappropriate my funds. Then on top of that they tried to sue me in court, where the Judge found in my favor. I would advise any buyers to beware of working with this group... they are shady. More

Beware !! I was told that i was lucky that he was helping me today because he only take cares of VIPs! Misleading price tactics & borderline Scamming. I was given a great price online just to get me inside the dealership and later find out they are just liars that could not honor any of the discounts I was given a great price online just to get me inside the dealership and later find out they are just liars that could not honor any of the discounts they originally offer in writing. If they give you a price that is too good to be true, it will probably be. Avoid unless you like to waste your time. More
