Long read, real review here. I hope you think twice before purchasing a vehicle at Aventura Chrysler. I bought a 22 Ram Laramie on July 11, 2023. Of any big purchase I have ever I hope you think twice before purchasing a vehicle at Aventura Chrysler. I bought a 22 Ram Laramie on July 11, 2023. Of any big purchase I have ever made, this has been the worst experience. Customer service nonexistent. I attached texts, emails, and warning light photos on google reviews. I purchased the truck (2335 miles) on it and the extended warranty. This vehicle was FCA certified by Chrysler and had an "125" point inspection prior to being sold. 7 miles from the dealer on I-95, I got a warning light for the air suspension that quickly went away. Picked up some family to show them the truck and head to dinner. Two blocks away from the house the suspension started leaning and was super bouncy, gave me service air suspension immediately and payload warnings. I drove the truck back and parked it, scared to drive it any further. Some first ride experience for everyone. Next day my salesman says he talked to the previous owner, saying it was the wheels and tires that were the issue. I have to leave the truck in aero mode. Now, the truck wheels are 22in same size as factory, the tires are 33in Nittos. Massey Yardley Chrysler told me the wheels and tires are not far out of spec and they shouldn't be an issue with the air ride. If the wheels were a problem wouldn't they of known this in there inspection?? According to my Ram app, Aventura Chrysler put the wheels and tires on the truck August 8th 2022. Makes you wonder if the truck was even inspected or they just didnt bother to tell me. I never got a follow up call from anyone after that. I never got a call back from the service department left numerous voicemails, no once seemed concerned. After the situation with the truck and poor dealer service, I decided I wanted to cancel my extended warranty with them. Enter Michael Katz (Finance Manager). This guy is the worst communicator I have ever dealt with. Once I told him I wanted to cancel my warranty, I think he put me on his block list. If you get this guy I would advise to ask for someone else 100%. I emailed/texted/called. He makes no effort to get back to you. If he does respond to me it was a sentence or two. He doesn't even address anything I had to say. It's like he doesn't even read it. It took me 15 days to get my extended warranty contract. I had to visit the sister store and talk to a finance manager. He told me what I have to do to cancel, that I should of left Aventura with the contract in hand. Said it was shady I had not got it yet. I asked Michael Katz for this contract numerous times and was ignored. He finally sent it after I emailed the finance director Paul Stern. My temp tag has expired yesterday and I have no hard plate. I contacted the dmv and they said I need to contact my dealer. I sent a text to Mr. Katz and called the store. No one in finance & insurance answers, just rings. So now I have to keep calling and have an expired temp tag. Some business. I am trying to cancel the lowjack as well, they did not install it in the truck, as the service department didn't have the time that day. 799.00 charge. I put some money down on my credit card and I suggest you do the same. I have disputed the lowjack. Was told I signed a paper with my sales person Alejandro when he was checking my credit, saying it was non cancelable. They haven't provided me those signed papers with the fine print. I have asked for them. If I did sign, shouldn't I have left with those documents? The first time lowjack was mentioned to me was in the recorded finance room. Before I signed up for the warranty and extras I asked Michael Katz three different times if those things were able to be canceled. He said yes 3 times. So if it wasn't installed I want it cancelled and refunded. My suggestion is to stay far away. You purchase and 50k+ vehicle and you get cold shoulder after. Don't sign up for extended warranty, a real pain to cancel. Have to do a bunch of steps, videos, notary and be ignored. More
