I purchased a vehicle in January from Colonial Chevrolet. At the time, everything was a bit rushed since I needed to pick up my child, and the process moved very quickly. Later that same day, after reviewing the paperwork, I discovered that the finance manager, Peter Attea, had added charges that were never agreed to. He explicitly told us he would “throw in the wheel and tire coverage for free,” but in reality, it was added to the loan. On top of that, he also included an extended warranty bringing the total of unwanted add-ons to over $3,500 even after we clearly stated that we did NOT want any extended warranty. I immediately contacted the lender and was informed that I needed to go back to the dealership to request cancellation forms. When I returned and confronted Peter, he avoided addressing the issue directly. I asked for the add-ons to be removed immediately, but he told me it would take about six weeks and refused to provide the cancellation forms. The lender later explained that delays like this can happen because finance managers may benefit from bonuses tied to these add-ons. After nearly three months with no resolution, I contacted the dealership again and spoke with Louis. Unlike Peter, he was professional, transparent, and understood the situation right away. More importantly, the cancellation that supposedly would take six weeks was completed in less than one week proving that the delay was unnecessary. Buyer beware: Be extremely cautious when reviewing your paperwork at this dealership, especially if dealing with Peter. Double-check everything before signing do not rely on verbal promises. More

Do not do business here. These guys will scam you. There is no integrity or honesty, just all bad business. They will backdoor you as soon as they can. If you still decide to do business with them, document everything, make them sign every deal and give you a copy, and read everything in writing and not on the tablet that they throw in your face to sign.
