My first interaction was with Jenny Larrieux, and she was just great. Both my wife and I did test drives, and Jenny was great. Jenny had to return to school and Peter Larson stepped in. Today (June 14 2023) my Dealer did what they could to solve a problem with my MY23 XC40 Recharge Ultimate- Unfortunately the problem persists. As soon as I took it off the lot and drove it at highway solve a problem with my MY23 XC40 Recharge Ultimate- Unfortunately the problem persists. As soon as I took it off the lot and drove it at highway speeds I felt a vibration in the steering wheel. It went back to the shop twice and although it was road force balanced and the tire was replaced it continued to have the problem. I’ve waited months for a resolution. For some time, my dealer has been trying to find a replacement via a Volvo Assisted Trade. They found one, we made the trade but the replacement has the same problem. I am incredibly disappointed in Volvo engineering and quality control. The drive system has been redesigned for MY24 and I am certain this has a lot to do with this issue. The problem has been “under study” since December 2022 and there is obviously still no resolution for those of us who have MY23 XC40 Recharge Ultimates. More
