A great car buying experience I was truly impressed with the staff at Bayside Volkswagen, from where I just purchased my 2014 Passat. I started on this journey by walking out of a I was truly impressed with the staff at Bayside Volkswagen, from where I just purchased my 2014 Passat. I started on this journey by walking out of a different VW dealership because the salesperson was extremely annoying, didn't understand any of my questions and talked so much nonsense that I couldn't hear myself think. I also vowed not to step foot in a second VW dealership when they practically begged me to give them all of my personal information over the phone after just asking them a couple of questions. In comparison, Bayside VW was such a pleasant experience, both over the phone (Marshall was great) and in person. At Bayside there was never any pressure to buy and they treated me with respect. Peter Parashkevov - my sales consultant - really stood out. I wanted to compare the three silver colors the Passat comes in, plus compare them to interior color choices. Peter was so patient with me while I went back and forth trying to choose my colors. When the exterior/interior color combo that I wanted wasn't available in this region, Peter went through the database (multiple search combinations) to try to locate one from another region. He really is a genuinely great, caring person who went the extra mile for me from the beginning all the way through to the end. The only criticism I have is that I feel they tried to lowball me initially on my trade-in Passat (this was not Peter) however in the end they did come up to a more realistic number. I am extremely happy with my new purchase and the staff made the overall experience just wonderful. I will highly recommend this dealership to friends and family. More

This was my first car and leasing experience so I can't compare it to anything else, but I have no complaints. Peter was my sales rep and he did everything he could to get me the price I wanted. The delivery of the auto was one the the smoothest I have experienced and the vehicle the features of the vehicle were explained fully. The follow up customer service was also excellent and all the personnel were very helpful. I was called with an appointment for my one month checkup with a few days of delivery.
