I purchased a 2023 gmc sierra 3. 0 duramax with 22k miles from kearns. I worked out pricing over phone with salesman before driving 1.5hrs to purchase. Told salesman I’d be there in the morning to look at truck and purchase if everything checks out. When I arrived that morning I stood in showroom 30min before being notified it was at a gm dealer 20min away in direction of home getting recall work done. Now time was of the essence and I was leaving for a vacation to Florida that afternoon so I didn’t want to mess around so I agreed to purchase the truck sight unseen, after all it was 1yr old and 22k miles so should be really nice. Followed salesman to gm dealer after completing the paperwork only to arrive at a truck that was in horrible shape. Front bumper rock chip every square inch, rear bumper large dent and scrap, interior very dirty. As I pointed out everything in a snow/sleeting conditions he called the manager and was informed all these flaws would be repaired when I returned home from vacation as well as when I got home that day and got it in the garage to look it over for anything else. So…on way home I stopped and purchased a bed cover for the vacation, upon getting home and truck in garage I walked to the back to start the install to find a huge crease on top side of tailgate and large dent in lower left tailgate so I started really looking truck over only to find two dents in driver bed side. I immediately took pics and emailed the dealer as I was told if I find anything else let um know. So to make this shorter, when I got back I went through hoops to get things only 3/4 xxx fixed. Tailgate was decently repaired by body shop (me doing multiple 1.5hr drives with no reimbursement) front and rear bumper where half xxx repaired (still see dent in rear bumper and front looks like a kids face going through puberty) only touched up by airbrush guy and I still have two dents in bedside. I didn’t get a great deal on this truck for it not to be a clean one owner and have this much damage. Never did get a interior detail or money reimbursement for all the driving I had to do as they said they would. So let me finish by saying this truck stranded me 4hrs into my family vacation the same day I purchased it with a seized turbo at 11pm at night on the interstate leaving me to have to rent a truck to continue on vacation with the trailer. Think this dealer made any compensation for that??? You’re right, they didn’t! Will never do business with Kearns motors again. It’s a real slap in the face bargaining to get your new truck fixed the way it should’ve been before selling when their showroom is loaded with exotic stupid expensive cars like they couldn’t afford to make this sale right!!! More

Make sure you get something in writing that there was no body work done to the vehicle you are buying from them! They have body work done by a place called "The Shop" in Watertown WI. Had work done on my hi body work done to the vehicle you are buying from them! They have body work done by a place called "The Shop" in Watertown WI. Had work done on my high end car there. They ordered and installed the wrong parts and took almost 2 years to complete!The interior is still not correct. Buyer beware!!! More
