General Manager Rafael made what could have been a horrible situation right. Salesman Matt had worked hard to get me in the car I wanted. He sent videos and pictures and answered all my questions. The 2016 Juke looked great, had a clean CARFAX, one owner, clean, no scrapes or scratches. It checked all the boxes. So much so that I flew from SC to Chicago to drive it home. I got to the Countryside Nissan dealership, did a test drive and worked with Matt and Rafael to sign paperwork. I loaded up the car and headed out. As soon as I turned out of the parking lot, I put it out of FWD into AWD-V. I heard metal grinding against metal, and as little as I know about cars, I knew that wasn’t good. I turned it right back around and called Rafael out to drive it. Then he went and got the mechanic. They didn’t want to make a diagnosis on the spot, but I could tell it was bad. I could also tell that no one I had met there knew about the issue. They were as stunned as I was. I decided to fly back home. Exhausted and frustrated, I found the last flight out of Chicago to SC. Rafael offered to reimburse me for the airfare. I stayed hopeful until Rafael called me on Monday to let me know the differential needed replacing. I decided to step away from the deal. I requested that he cut me a check for the bank and down payment and overnight it to me. He did not hesitate to agree, and within 24 hours, my money was returned. While I am disappointed and went a long way to get a car that turned out to need a major repair, I am very happy with the integrity and respect with which I was treated. I would recommend the dealership. They represented the Nissan brand well and made a hard situation okay. More

Granted the salesman, Kuba, didn't know of or have to tell me about mechanical issues, but I regret buying a car without an accurate mechanics report. It is important you know what you're selling to peop tell me about mechanical issues, but I regret buying a car without an accurate mechanics report. It is important you know what you're selling to people and to be honest about it. I’ve had nothing but repairs since I bought this car, most of which I directly asked about when inspecting the vehicle before buying, and more is going wrong still. The dealership offered to tow it back to them in Illinois and fix it, but denied so much was actually wrong with it. The vehicle needed a transmission repair, which was still under warranty, and control arms and struts. The breaks are very worn and need done soon which at least is more expected due to the vehicle mileage. The sunroof was damaged while at the Fort Wayne dealership, so now lot of controls like the trunk button, seat belt alarm, heated seats, and temperature controls are all working intermittently. This whole process has been a mess! I have learned to require a pre purchase inspection even if the dealership inspects it, and especially if they say nothing is wrong with it. Nothing holds them liable to tell you the truth or even show you a report. Kuba and the sales management team were great to talk with, but they are still salesmen doing what they do best. At the end of the day, it’s about the money not the customer, and that’s life, regardless of what is spun about customer satisfaction. More

My salesperson, Ed Doerge, was great! He took his time and explained everything, answering all my questions and concerns. I was not as happy with his manager, as they did not come down on the pricing ver and explained everything, answering all my questions and concerns. I was not as happy with his manager, as they did not come down on the pricing very much. Likewise, I was not happy with the finance person. He kept hounding me to purchase an extended warranty even though I repeatedly told him no. More
