We’re pretty new to the area and wanted to give everyone a heads up if they’re looking to purchase a vehicle in Lugoff and weren’t aware of the issues these dealers have in town. Purchased a brand new truck, left at night, was cloudy for a few days then the sun shined directly on it. There’s very noticeable buffer trails and holograms all down the sides of it. Sales manager David tried sending me to a body shop to buff and polish it with no documentation, however it needs paint correction which was verified when I took it in to a specialist who measured the paint (readings were as low as 96). Dealership is not wanting to work with us in getting this corrected and actively ignored us. They did respond to my BBB complaint essentially saying that they’ve handed off responsibility to the third party body shop and how would they know if I didn’t take my brand new vehicle home and use a rotary buffer to it in 4 days. That’s comical. I understand, but still hilarious. Now there’s the issue with the dealer add on package they deceptively sold us. I say deceptively because they did not itemize this in the contract or show prices in the addendum. I only found out I paid for all of it when they conveniently left the sticker for the addons adding to the total price in the truck. They essentially hid the cost in the total of the truck because I naively negotiated by monthly payments. In my defense I’ve never financed through a dealership before, only my own bank. They haven’t provided the 36 months unlimited car wash subscription that I unknowingly paid for. They actually tried to leave that checked off on the addendum when I had them correct it, because he verbally promised them to me making it sound like they came free with purchase. Then they left that copy out of my paperwork as I was leaving but I noticed and made them give it to me. So after almost 2 months of us asking about it we just want a refund for the services we paid for that they did not provide. They are unwilling and sent us a photo of a piece of paper the equivalent to a jelly of the month club, good for one month. Finance will keep talking and asking you questions that are irrelevant to the contract you are signing so that you don’t notice the jump in price of the vehicle. I am now waiting on GM corporate to hopefully handle the paint situation. They’ve had to escalate it because the dealership will not respond to them either. I’m driving a brand new truck that looks used or has had body work done. Embarrassing and these people including the Mason family should be ashamed of themselves. Purchase at any of the dealerships in Lugoff at your own risk (one guy owns them all except Nissan I believe) and Mighty Wash. This was Lugoff Chevrolet, specifically. If you go to their Google reviews, they’re all left by fake names, family, friends or bots. Sort by lowest. Expensive lesson learned. I hope this review saves unsuspecting people some of their sanity and money. More

Terrible experience on my last oil change. I bought the 2018 Enclave new there and everything has been ok until this last oil change. I opened the door to get in there was grease on the se I bought the 2018 Enclave new there and everything has been ok until this last oil change. I opened the door to get in there was grease on the seat. I didn't say anything I wiped it off and left. As I was driving home the screen popped up SERVICE OIL LOW ADD OIL. So, I pulled into the parking lot at Midway Elementary School which is 15.5 miles from Lugoff Chev Buick GMC. I turned the vehicle off, sat there for a few minutes, got out and checked the oil. It was not touching the stick. At 11:13 am I called the service department and explained my situation. The girl said, "oh no" and put me on hold. She came back on, and she said she would be sending someone with oil. At 11:24 am she called back to confirm my location and ask I how much oil she should send. I said, "I don't know, send a whole xxxx case, just send enough". At 12:29 pm the technician calls and says he's at the school but doesn't see my car. WRONG SCHOOL. At 1:29 pm I call the technician to see where he is and says he's 10 minutes away. At 1:42pm he shows up with the oil. Two hours and twenty-nine minutes to come 15.5 miles. I paid $95 for this, and I haven't received and an apology, I'm sorry, I'm sorry for the inconvenience or anything. Needless to say, I will not visit Lugoff Chevrolet Buick GMC again! The only reason I rate ONE STAR was because there wasn't anything lower. More
