Service appointment: Excellent communication, courteous and helpful team and a smooth process. The work took less time than originally estimated; I was able to chill in the lounge area and enjoy a cup of c and helpful team and a smooth process. This is what I wrote the service director in response to an email SHE sent ME asking about how my service was. I still have not received a response or even a phone call to date: Good Afternoon Lisa, I an email SHE sent ME asking about how my service was. I still have not received a response or even a phone call to date: Good Afternoon Lisa, I was not happy with the outcome of my service repairs and would not recommend anyone to get their car serviced here. People already associate bringing their vehicles to dealerships with extreme high costs and being ripped off due to the labor and parts cost-analysis ratio, but I brought my vehicle here because I assumed I would be provided with quality service despite the high costs I paid. My vehicle was brought in due to a “check emissions system” notification. I was advised by Randy it was due to my catalytic converter. He stated it was not an immediate necessity. I opted for a timing belt, water and gas pump replacement, and tire alignment. I picked my Acura MDX up when it was ready and 5 minutes down the road on the freeway, I get hit with two notifications, “check charging system” and “check SH AWD”. I have never had these lights come on prior to my visit. I was on my way back to work and due to time constraints, I continued to drive to my destination and sent Randy photos of the notifications. Once I parked, he called me and apologized stating the vehicle had to be brought back immediately as it may be the alternator and with my timing belt change, they do touch the alternator OR it might be a faulty alternator. If it was a faulty alternator, why wouldn’t this be identified while it was being serviced? I tried to re-start my car to bring it back and it would not start again. I could only come to the conclusion that my vehicle was worse-off and gained more issues in the care of this dealership. Randy at least offered to get the vehicle towed and in return, supplied me with a rental. When my vehicle got towed, the tower attempted to re-start the car and it came on for a few minutes and began to sputter awful noises. I just want to be clear, I am not making a complaint on Randy, I am making a complaint on the service. I currently work full-time in the military, a mom, and a part-time student. I do not have the time or leisure to make trips back and forth. This became a complete inconvenience on all levels. Helpful. Courteous. Explained my repairs and urgency (or not) of when to take care of them. Randy Larson was very honest with me about things for my 100k-1 Courteous. I also liked the text communication with the guys, including a video of the check on all the necessary areas of the car! Thank you! More
