Great experience is the routine at this dealership! I have used Lou Sobh Honda consistently since 2014 and it’s a great dealership. Service and even sales people are respectful and knowledgeable. On Tuesday June 11th my wife called me to go to Lou Sobh Honda with her to look at some vehicles she had previously viewed earlier in the day. We pulled in around 6pm and were greated by a very friendly salesmen Randy. We sat at the computer to see what was available. He quickly grabbed some vehicles for us to view. My wife had fallen in love with the 2019 Honda Odyssey Ex-L so clearly in the end this is what she was leaving with. We looked at a 2016 but there was no dvd system in this van which is a problem having two little one so they gave us a option to add one. Great option and we appreciated the effort. We began working on the numbers and it was almost over for me at this point. I had a trade in that according to Forsyth county tax office is worth $11500.00 my expectations were far less than that for trade in but they only offered $3500.00 a bit insulted I moved on to the deal. After the shock of all these number we had a deal around 9pm. My wife was so happy this was the nicest newest vehicle she had ever owned, and I was happy she was getting what she wanted for so long. Well the happiness didn’t last long!!! On the night of delivery we never went through the vehicle and learned how to use all these fun options it came with. We were promised a call back the following day to get our floor,mats and a full walkthrough. Well 3 days later nothing so we went back in with the van asking questions like how do we work the DVD player? Were are our mats headphones and remotes? We were then informed it was a aftermarket system and they would have to find these items. Wait what (Aftermarket) lightbulbs going off.....we bought a add on warranty to cover OEM electronics well that’s not good because the 3000 warranty we bought would not cover it. Also while at dealership they got us new mats and I made a comment about the low quality of the mats and questioned the quality for a 40k van and I was quickly corrected that this was not the high end van. Ok. So under further investigation the former owner purchased a $200 low end aftermarket DVD player and had it installed. I am currently trying to work with the management at Lou Sobh to rectify this situation, however I don’t have 100% confidence based on the changing stories and lack of taking responsibility. I was told to come in on Monday to speak with Mike Sobh well unfortunately he wasn’t working and I had the joy of speaking to a very arrogant young sales manager Jacob. And apparently I parked my car in the wrong spot because the parts employee said he would move my car with a fork lift hmmm. William Winters More
